بعث خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، برقية عزاء ومواساة، الى الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير دولة قطر، إثر الانفجار الذي وقع في أحد مصانع منطقة رأس لفان الصناعية، وما نتج عنه من وفيات وإصابات. وقال الملك: «علمنا بنبأ الانفجار الذي وقع في أحد مصانع منطقة رأس لفان الصناعية في دولة قطر، وما نتج عنه من وفيات وإصابات، وإننا إذ نبعث لسموكم ولأسر المتوفين ولشعب دولة قطر الشقيق أحر التعازي وأصدق المواساة، لنسأل المولى سبحانه وتعالى أن يتغمد المتوفين بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، ويلهم ذويهم الصبر والسلوان، وأن يمن على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، ويحفظكم وشعب دولة قطر من كل سوء ومكروه، إنه سميع مجيب». كما بعث ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، برقية عزاء ومواساة، الى الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير دولة قطر، إثر الانفجار الذي وقع في أحد مصانع منطقة رأس لفان الصناعية، وما نتج عنه من وفيات وإصابات. وقال ولي العهد: «تلقيت نبأ الانفجار الذي وقع في أحد مصانع منطقة رأس لفان الصناعية في دولة قطر، وما نتج عنه من وفيات وإصابات، وأعرب لسموكم ولأسر المتوفين كافة عن بالغ التعازي وصادق المواساة، سائلًا الله تعالى الرحمة للمتوفين، والشفاء العاجل لجميع المصابين، إنه سميع مجيب».
