أدى أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، ووزير الطاقة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ونائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، بعد صلاة عصر اليوم (الإثنين) بجامع الفرقان بمدينة الدمام، صلاة الميت على الشهداء في حادثة سقوط المروحية التابعة لأرامكو السعودية. وسأل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يتغمد الشهداء بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، وأن يسكنهم فسيح جناته، مقدماً خالص تعازيه وصادق مواساته لذوي الشهداء. وقال أمير الشرقية: «نسأل الله عز وجل أن يتقبل الشهداء بواسع رحمته، وأن يجزيهم خير الجزاء على ما قدموه من إخلاص وتفانٍ في أداء واجبهم، وأن يلهم ذويهم الصبر والسلوان، وأن يديم على وطننا أمنه واستقراره في ظل قيادته الرشيدة». وأدى الصلاة مع أمير الشرقية عدد من الأمراء، والوزراء، والعلماء، وجمع من المسؤولين، وذوي الشهداء، والمواطنين الذين شاركوا في تشييع الشهداء والدعاء لهم بالمغفرة والرحمة. The Governor of the Eastern Province asked Allah, the Almighty, to envelop the martyrs in His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to grant them a place in His spacious gardens, extending his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the martyrs. Prince Saud stated: "We ask Allah, the Exalted, to accept the martyrs with His vast mercy, and to reward them abundantly for their dedication and commitment in fulfilling their duty, and to inspire their families with patience and solace, and to maintain the security and stability of our homeland under its wise leadership." Along with the Governor of the Eastern Province, a number of princes, ministers, scholars, and a group of officials, as well as the families of the martyrs and citizens participated in the funeral prayer and prayed for their forgiveness and mercy.
