اتهامات بترويج روايات وهمية
وقالت رغد في بيانها إن «روايات كاذبة» لا تزال تتداول عبر بعض منصات التواصل الاجتماعي ووسائل الإعلام، نقلاً عن امرأة «تدعي زوراً وبهتاناً أنها الابنة السرية لوالدي الشهيد صدام حسين»، مشيرة إلى أن العائلة سبق أن أصدرت أكثر من بيان لتفنيد هذه المزاعم، إلا أن البعض لا يزال يصدقها ويروج لها.
وأكدت أن الحقيقة لا تُبنى على القصص الخيالية ولا على الادعاءات المتكررة، لافتة إلى أن التحقيقات الرسمية أثبتت في أكثر من مناسبة أن الأوراق التي تستند إليها تلك الادعاءات مزورة.
نفي مزاعم مرتبطة باليمن
كما نفت رغد صحة ما وصفته بادعاء إقامة المرأة في منزل يعود إليها داخل اليمن، مؤكدة أن المنزل المشار إليه يعود إلى عائلة عمها الشهيد سبعاوي إبراهيم الحسن، وأن هذه الحقيقة سبق توضيحها في أكثر من مناسبة.
دعوة إلى التحقق من المعلومات
وجددت رغد صدام حسين دعوتها إلى تحري الدقة والتمييز بين الحقائق والأكاذيب، مطالبةً كل من يتداول هذه الروايات، حتى وإن كان بحسن نية، بالرجوع إلى المصادر الرسمية قبل إعادة نشر أي معلومات، محذرةً من أن المساهمة في تداول الأخبار غير الموثقة قد تجعل صاحبها شريكاً في نشر الباطل دون أن يشعر.
تحذير من استغلال اسم العائلة
وأكد البيان أن استغلال الأسماء والتاريخ لإثارة الجدل أو تحقيق الشهرة عبر اختلاق روايات لا أصل لها لا يخدم الحقيقة، مشدداً على أن الكلمة أمانة، وأن مسؤولية التحقق من صحة المعلومات تقع على عاتق كل من يكتب أو ينشر أو يعيد تداولها.
واختتمت رغد بيانها بالدعوة إلى عدم الانسياق وراء القصص التي وصفتها بـ«الزائفة»، وعدم الانجرار خلف مروجي الأكاذيب لما يترتب على ذلك من إثارة للفتنة والبلبلة، سائلةً الله أن يُظهر الحق ويُجنب الأمة الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن.

She emphasized that the truth is not built on fictional stories or repeated claims, pointing out that official investigations have proven on more than one occasion that the documents on which these claims are based are forged.
Denial of Claims Related to Yemen
Raghad also denied the validity of what she described as the claim that the woman resides in a house belonging to her in Yemen, asserting that the mentioned house belongs to her uncle, the martyr Sabawi Ibrahim al-Hassan, and that this fact has been clarified on several occasions.

Raghad Saddam Hussein renewed her call for accuracy and the distinction between facts and lies, urging anyone who circulates these narratives, even with good intentions, to refer to official sources before republishing any information, warning that contributing to the circulation of unverified news could make the person a partner in spreading falsehood without realizing it.

The statement confirmed that exploiting names and history to stir controversy or achieve fame through fabricating unfounded narratives does not serve the truth, stressing that words are a trust, and the responsibility for verifying the accuracy of information lies with everyone who writes, publishes, or re-circulates it.
Raghad concluded her statement by calling for not being swayed by what she described as "false" stories, and not being drawn in by the promoters of lies due to the resulting incitement and confusion, asking God to reveal the truth and spare the nation from trials, both apparent and hidden.
