ارتفعت أسعار التأمين البحري على السفن العابرة لمضيق هرمز بشكل ملحوظ هذا الأسبوع، في ظل تصاعد الهجمات على السفن التجارية وانهيار وقف إطلاق النار المؤقت بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران؛ وفق ما أفادت به مصادر كبرى في سوق التأمين البحري.

وكشف استطلاع شمل سبعة مصادر رئيسية في القطاع أن أسعار التأمين الإضافية لعبور المضيق تتراوح حاليًا بين 1% و5% من قيمة السفينة، مقارنةً بنحو 2% قبل الأحداث الأخيرة.

وأوضح أحد المصادر أن الأسعار مرشحة للارتفاع إلى 5% على الأقل، بينما أكد مصدران آخران أن المعدلات وصلت بالفعل إلى هذا المستوى، في حين توقع مصدر ثالث أن تتراوح بين 4% و5% مع إمكانية منح خصم بنسبة 50% في حال عدم تسجيل مطالبات مستقبلية.

وأشار مصدر آخر إلى أن الأسعار، الأسبوع الماضي، كانت بين 2.5% و3%، ولا تزال بعض السفن تُسعّر ضمن هذا النطاق، رغم الاتجاه العام نحو الارتفاع نتيجة تصاعد المخاطر الأمنية في واحد من أهم الممرات البحرية العالمية.

ويعكس هذا الارتفاع الحاد في أسعار التأمين حالة عدم اليقين التي تسيطر على حركة الملاحة في المضيق؛ حيث أدت الهجمات المتكررة إلى زيادة تكلفة تشغيل السفن ورفع مستويات المخاطر على شركات الشحن العالمية.

Marine insurance prices for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz have risen significantly this week, amid escalating attacks on commercial vessels and the collapse of the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran; according to major sources in the marine insurance market.

A survey involving seven key sources in the sector revealed that additional insurance prices for crossing the strait currently range between 1% and 5% of the ship's value, compared to about 2% before the recent events.

One source explained that prices are likely to rise to at least 5%, while two other sources confirmed that rates have already reached this level, whereas a third source predicted they would range between 4% and 5%, with the possibility of a 50% discount if no future claims are filed.

Another source noted that prices last week were between 2.5% and 3%, and some ships are still being priced within this range, despite the general trend towards an increase due to rising security risks in one of the world's most important maritime corridors.

This sharp rise in insurance prices reflects the uncertainty dominating navigation in the strait; as repeated attacks have increased the cost of operating ships and raised risk levels for global shipping companies.
