استنفرت الأجهزة الصحية والرقابية في الأردن جهودها بعدما تحولت وجبات من مطعم شعبي إلى «مصيدة للمرض»، إثر تسجيل 138 حالة اشتباه بتسمم غذائي جماعي في منطقة «لواء الهاشمية» بمحافظة الزرقاء، ما تسبب في حالة من القلق بعد تدفق عشرات العائلات نحو ثلاثة مستشفيات مختلفة لتلقي الإسعافات العاجلة. وأوضحت وزارة الصحة الأردنية في بيان رسمي، أن صالات الطوارئ استقبلت الحالات التي كانت تعاني من أعراض التسمم التقليدية كالتقيؤ، والإسهال المتكرر، والصداع الحاد، وآلام البطن الشديدة. وطمأنت الوزارة المواطنين بأن غالبية الإصابات كانت طفيفة؛ إذ تلقت الرعاية اللازمة وغادرت المستشفيات فور تحسن حالتها الصحية، بينما استدعت الحالة الطبية لعدد محدود من المرضى إدخالهم تحت المراقبة لاستكمال العلاج. وفي رد فعل حاسم لمنع تفاقم الأزمة، تحركت كوادر الرقابة والتفتيش في المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء بشكل فوري نحو المطعم المعني، وأغلقت المنشأة تماماً كإجراء احترازي، وباشرت بسحب عينات موسعة من الأطعمة والوجبات الجاهزة والمواد الأولية لإخضاعها للفحص المخبري الدقيق، تمهيداً لتحديد السبب المباشر وراء هذا التسمم الجماعي ومحاسبة المسؤولين عنه. The health and regulatory authorities in Jordan mobilized their efforts after meals from a popular restaurant turned into a "trap for illness," following the registration of 138 suspected cases of mass food poisoning in the "Al-Hashimiyah District" of Zarqa Governorate, causing a state of concern as dozens of families rushed to three different hospitals for emergency treatment. The Jordanian Ministry of Health clarified in an official statement that the emergency rooms received cases suffering from traditional poisoning symptoms such as vomiting, repeated diarrhea, severe headaches, and intense abdominal pain. The ministry reassured citizens that the majority of the cases were mild; they received the necessary care and left the hospitals as soon as their health improved, while the medical condition of a limited number of patients required their admission under observation for further treatment. In a decisive reaction to prevent the crisis from worsening, the inspection and monitoring teams from the Jordan Food and Drug Administration immediately moved towards the concerned restaurant, completely closing the establishment as a precautionary measure, and began collecting extensive samples of food, ready meals, and raw materials to subject them to precise laboratory testing, in preparation for determining the direct cause behind this mass poisoning and holding those responsible accountable.
