يواصل تطبيق «واتساب» تطوير أدواته لتعزيز تجربة المستخدم، إذ بدأ اختبار ميزة جديدة تتيح تعيين تذكيرات للرسائل المهمة، بما يساعد على عدم نسيان المهمات أو المعلومات الواردة داخل المحادثات، خصوصاً في المحادثات النشطة والمزدحمة. وبحسب موقع «WABetaInfo»، أصبحت الميزة متاحة في النسخة التجريبية لنظام «iOS»، إذ يمكن للمستخدم الضغط مطولاً على أي رسالة واختيار «ذكّرني»، ثم تحديد موعد التذكير بعد ساعتين أو 8 ساعات أو 24 ساعة، أو اختيار تاريخ ووقت مخصصين. وعند تفعيل الميزة، تظهر أيقونة جرس صغيرة بجوار الرسالة لتأكيد ضبط التذكير، بينما يرسل التطبيق إشعاراً عند حلول الموعد المحدد يتضمن محتوى الرسالة واسم المحادثة، ما يتيح العودة إليها مباشرة دون الحاجة إلى البحث بين الرسائل. وأكدت التقارير، أن التذكيرات تظل خاصة بالمستخدم ولا تظهر للطرف الآخر في المحادثة، كما يمكن إلغاؤها في أي وقت. ولا تزال الميزة قيد الاختبار، ومن المتوقع طرحها تدريجياً لجميع المستخدمين بعد انتهاء مرحلة التجارب والتأكد من جاهزيتها. When the feature is activated, a small bell icon appears next to the message to confirm the reminder has been set, while the application sends a notification when the specified time arrives, including the message content and the chat name, allowing users to return to it directly without needing to search through messages. Reports have confirmed that the reminders remain private to the user and do not appear to the other party in the conversation, and they can be canceled at any time. The feature is still in testing, and it is expected to be gradually rolled out to all users after the testing phase is completed and its readiness is confirmed.
