عقد وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات المهندس عبدالله بن عامر السواحة، خلال زيارته إلى جمهورية الصين الشعبية، سلسلة لقاءات مع مستثمرين وصناديق استثمار عالمية، إلى جانب لقائه بالطلاب والطالبات المبتعثين في الصين، في إطار تحركات تستهدف تسريع نمو الاقتصاد الرقمي السعودي، وتعزيز الشراكات التقنية، وتمكين الكفاءات الوطنية. والتقى السواحة نخبة من المستثمرين وصناديق الاستثمار، لبحث فرص بناء شراكات إستراتيجية تسهم في دعم الشركات التقنية الناشئة، وتمكين رواد الأعمال، واستقطاب الشركات العالمية إلى المملكة، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 الرامية إلى جعل المملكة مركزًا عالميًا للتقنية والابتكار والذكاء الاصطناعي. كما اجتمع الوزير بالمبتعثين السعوديين في الصين، بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية الصين الشعبية عبدالرحمن الحربي، حيث ناقش معهم تطلعاتهم الأكاديمية والمهنية، وأكّد أهمية دورهم في نقل المعرفة، وبناء جسور التعاون العلمي والتقني بين البلدين، والإسهام في تنمية الاقتصاد المعرفي السعودي. اهتمام بالكوادر السعودية في الخارج وتأتي هذه اللقاءات في وقت تشهد فيه العلاقات السعودية الصينية توسعًا متسارعًا، في مجالات الاقتصاد الرقمي والذكاء الاصطناعي والتقنيات المتقدمة، مدعومة بحجم تبادل تجاري تجاوز 100 مليار دولار سنويًا، لتبقى الصين الشريك التجاري الأكبر للمملكة. وتسعى المملكة إلى أن تصبح مركزًا عالميًا للذكاء الاصطناعي، مستهدفة أن يسهم القطاع بنحو 12% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بحلول عام 2030، إلى جانب مواصلة استقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية، وتوطين التقنيات المتقدمة، وتطوير الكفاءات الوطنية القادرة على قيادة الاقتصاد الرقمي. ويرى مختصون أن الجمع بين تعزيز الشراكات الاستثمارية والاهتمام بالكوادر السعودية الدارسة في الخارج، يعكس نهجًا متكاملًا يربط بين تنمية رأس المال البشري وجذب الاستثمارات النوعية، بما يدعم بناء منظومة تقنية متقدمة قادرة على المنافسة عالميًا، ويعزز حضور المملكة بوصفها وجهة رئيسية للابتكار وريادة الأعمال. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, during his visit to the People's Republic of China, held a series of meetings with global investors and investment funds, in addition to meeting with Saudi students studying in China, as part of efforts aimed at accelerating the growth of the Saudi digital economy, enhancing technical partnerships, and empowering national competencies. Al-Swaha met with a select group of investors and investment funds to discuss opportunities for building strategic partnerships that contribute to supporting emerging tech companies, empowering entrepreneurs, and attracting global companies to the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at making the Kingdom a global center for technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence. The minister also met with Saudi scholarship students in China, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the People's Republic of China, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, where he discussed their academic and professional aspirations, and emphasized the importance of their role in transferring knowledge, building bridges of scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries, and contributing to the development of the Saudi knowledge economy. Attention to Saudi Talent Abroad These meetings come at a time when Saudi-Chinese relations are witnessing rapid expansion in the fields of digital economy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies, supported by a trade exchange volume exceeding $100 billion annually, with China remaining the Kingdom's largest trading partner. The Kingdom aims to become a global center for artificial intelligence, targeting the sector to contribute about 12% of the GDP by 2030, alongside continuing to attract quality investments, localizing advanced technologies, and developing national competencies capable of leading the digital economy. Experts believe that combining the enhancement of investment partnerships with attention to Saudi talent studying abroad reflects an integrated approach that links the development of human capital with attracting quality investments, supporting the establishment of an advanced technological ecosystem capable of competing globally, and enhancing the Kingdom's presence as a major destination for innovation and entrepreneurship.
