أجرى وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، اتصالاً هاتفياً، برئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية بدولة قطر الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني. وعبَّر وزير الدفاع، خلال الاتصال، عن تعازيه ومواساته لرئيس مجلس الوزراء في وفاة الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني -رحمه الله-، سائلاً المولى أن يتغمّد الفقيد بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، ويسكنه فسيح جناته. Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz made a phone call to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. During the call, the Defense Minister expressed his condolences and sympathy to the Prime Minister on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani - may God have mercy on him - asking the Almighty to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to grant him a place in His spacious gardens.
