قفزت أسعار النفط 3% اليوم، إذ تجاوز خام برنت 90 دولارا للبرميل، في ظل توسيع الولايات المتحدة وإيران نطاق الهجمات في الشرق الأوسط، الأمر الذي عرقل مرور شحنات الطاقة عبر مضيق هرمز. وارتفعت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 2.77 دولار، أو 3.14%، إلى 90.87 دولار لتصل إلى أعلى مستوى لها منذ 11 يونيو الماضي، وتواصل مكاسبها بعد ارتفاعها 15.9% الأسبوع الماضي، وهو أكبر ارتفاع أسبوعي لها منذ أبريل 2026. أعلى مستوى وسجل خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي 84.84 دولار للبرميل، مرتفعا 2.35 دولار أو 2.85%، وهو أعلى مستوى له منذ 12 يونيو، وارتفعت أسعار العقود الآجلة لشهر أقرب استحقاق 15.5% الأسبوع الماضي، وهو أكبر ارتفاع أسبوعي منذ أوائل مارس. وقال محللو آي.إن.جي في مذكرة اليوم (الإثنين): «تجاوز سعر خام برنت في بورصة إنتركونتننتال حاجز 90 دولارا للبرميل هذا الصباح مع استمرار التصعيد في المنطقة». وأضافوا:«تواصل الولايات المتحدة وإيران تبادل الضربات التي تلحق خسائر بشرية بالطرفين. وإذا استمر هذا التصعيد دون توقف، قد نعود إلى دوامة الهجمات على نطاق واسع في جميع أنحاء المنطقة». Oil prices jumped 3% today, as Brent crude surpassed $90 per barrel, amid the United States and Iran expanding the scope of attacks in the Middle East, which has disrupted energy shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude futures rose by $2.77, or 3.14%, to $90.87, reaching its highest level since June 11, and continued its gains after rising 15.9% last week, marking its largest weekly increase since April 2026. Highest Level West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude recorded $84.84 per barrel, up $2.35 or 2.85%, the highest level since June 12, and prices for the nearest futures contracts rose 15.5% last week, the largest weekly increase since early March. Analysts at ING stated in a note today (Monday): "Brent crude prices on the Intercontinental Exchange surpassed $90 per barrel this morning as tensions in the region continue to escalate." They added: "The United States and Iran continue to exchange strikes that inflict casualties on both sides. If this escalation continues unabated, we may return to a spiral of widespread attacks throughout the region."
