A power outage struck large parts of Georgia today, Friday, including the capital Tbilisi and major cities such as Kutaisi and Batumi, local media reported. The cause of the outage remains unclear, as does the extent of the damage, and no comment has been issued by the authorities yet. Georgia has been facing issues with its power supply, as a widespread outage hit the country last year, while most of its infrastructure is outdated.
