في فاجعة مروعة حبست أنفاس الشارع السوري وتحولت إلى كابوس حقيقي، أسفرت حادثة سير كارثية وقعت صباح اليوم (السبت) عن مقتل وإصابة عشرات المسافرين على الطريق الواصل بين دمشق ودير الزور، مما استدعى تدخلاً جوياً عاجلاً من الجيش لإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه.
أطلقت الحادثة المأساوية حالة استنفار قصوى بين كافة الأجهزة الطبية والعسكرية والأمنية، لانتشال الضحايا من موقع الاصطدام الدامي الذي أحدث حالة عارمة من الفزع.

إخلاء جوي لإنقاذ الحالات الحرجة
أمام هول الفاجعة وصعوبة موقع الحادثة على الطريق الصحراوي، دخلت وزارة الدفاع السورية على خط الأزمة بشكل مباشر:
- إنزال جوي طارئ: أرسلت وزارة الدفاع السورية عدداً من الحوامات العسكرية إلى موقع الحادثة للمشاركة في عمليات الإخلاء الطبي السريع.
- نقل فورس للمشفى العسكري: جرى نقل الوفيات والجرحى بحالة خطرة جواً وبراً إلى مشفى حمص العسكري والمستشفيات المجاورة لتلقي العلاجات الفورية.
من جانبها، أكدت وزارة الداخلية السورية عبر معرفاتها الرسمية أن فرق الإسعاف والجهات المختصة سارعت للانتشار بموقع الحادثة وتنظيم حركة المرور، بينما تواصل الكوادر الطبية سباقاً مع الوقت للتعامل مع الإصابات الحرجة وتحديد ملابسات وتفاصيل هذه الكارثة المرورية.
In a horrific tragedy that took the breath away from the Syrian streets and turned into a real nightmare, a catastrophic traffic accident that occurred this morning (Saturday) resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of travelers on the road connecting Damascus and Deir ez-Zor, necessitating urgent aerial intervention from the army to rescue what could be saved.
The tragic incident triggered a state of maximum alert among all medical, military, and security agencies to retrieve the victims from the site of the bloody collision, which caused widespread panic.
- The incident occurred due to a collision involving a large passenger bus in the desert area between the cities of Al-Sukhnah and Palmyra on the Deir ez-Zor–Damascus road:
- Blood toll: Dr. Najib Al-Nassaan, the director of ambulance and emergency services at the Syrian Ministry of Health, confirmed that the initial toll of the incident reached 35 dead and 30 injured with varying degrees of severity.
- Civil defense mobilization: The Syrian civil defense dispatched rescue teams from the Palmyra center, requesting urgent support from Deir ez-Zor centers to deal with the magnitude of the incident and cut metal to rescue those trapped.
Aerial evacuation to save critical cases
In light of the enormity of the tragedy and the difficulty of the accident site on the desert road, the Syrian Ministry of Defense directly intervened in the crisis:
- Emergency aerial drop: The Syrian Ministry of Defense sent several military helicopters to the accident site to participate in rapid medical evacuation operations.
- Immediate transfer to military hospital: The deceased and critically injured were transported by air and land to the Homs military hospital and nearby hospitals for immediate treatment.
