The Nigerian striker's statements came after reports indicated a problem related to his dues, after he received a notice from a Turkish bank regarding unpaid income tax, before the club quickly intervened to resolve the situation and avoid freezing his bank account.
Reports clarified that the crisis was not due to the player himself, but rather a result of financial obligations related to the club, as Galatasaray officials rushed to solve the problem.
A Game-Changing Transfer
Osimhen joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2025 on a contract that extends until 2029, after transferring in a record deal worth 75 million euros. Since his arrival, he has become one of the team's standout stars, having played 74 matches across various competitions, during which he scored 59 goals and provided 16 assists.
The Nigerian striker contributed to Galatasaray winning the Turkish league title twice, in addition to winning the Turkish Cup, and he was awarded the best player of the season.
The crisis comes at a time when Osimhen is attracting interest from several major clubs, increasing the pressure on Galatasaray's management to resolve the player's situation and retain one of the team's key stars.
