استدعت النيابة التركية عدداً من الفنانين للإدلاء بإفاداتهم ضمن التحقيقات الجارية في فضيحة سرقة أموال التبرعات التي يُتهم فيها المغني المعروف هالوك ليفينت. 5 مشاهير وقالت وسائل إعلام تركية، إن قائمة الشخصيات التي ضمتها النيابة لقضية جمعية «أحباب» الخيرية، تتضمن المغني محسون كرمزي أوغلو ونجمة مسلسل «حب للإيجار» الفنانة إلتشين سانغو، والمغنية والممثلة غولبن إرغين، ومغني الروك هايكو جيبكين، والصحفي أوغور دوندار. ويستهدف الاستدعاء الاستماع لأقوال الأشخاص الخمسة، في إطار التحقيق في القضية التي تتسع قائمة المتهمين والموقوفين فيها، وعلى رأسهم مؤسس جمعية «أحباب» الفنان ليفينت المسجون منذ نحو أسبوعين. اعتذار وخداع وهزت القضية الوسط الفني في تركيا، ودفعت عدداً من الفنانين والإعلاميين والمشاهير للاعتذار عن دعمهم للفنان ليفينت والترويج لحملته في جمع التبرعات، وقالوا إنهم تعرضوا للخداع. وبعد زلزال عام 2023 الذي ضرب جنوب تركيا وخلف أكثر من 55 ألف قتيل، جمع ليفينت تبرعات مالية كبيرة تقدر بأكثر من 150 مليون دولار لبناء مساكن لمن فقدوا منازلهم، لتثار الشكوك حول مصير تلك الأموال بعد تعثر مشروع البناء. غسل أموال وانتهاك ووجهت النيابة العامة في إسطنبول قبل نحو أسبوعين، للفنان ليفينت وجمعيته وموظفيها، اتهامات بـ «انتهاك قانون الجمعيات» و«غسيل الأموال» عبر تحويل أموال التبرعات إلى حسابات شخصية، واستخدامها في المقامرة. ونفى ليفينت الاتهامات الموجهة ضده، وقال إن جمعيته خضعت للتدقيق عدة مرات، لكنه كان عرضة لانتقادات واسعة في الأيام الماضية تصدرها متضررون من وعود الجمعية التي يديرها بتسليمهم مساكن. شيكات بلا رصيد وأدانت محكمة أخيراً، ليفينت بإصدار شيكات دون رصيد قيمتها 70 مليون ليرة تركية (نحو 1.5 مليون دولار) وعاقبته بغرامة تساوي ذلك المبلغ تقريباً. كما منعت المحكمة ليفينت من إصدار الشيكات وفتح حسابات مصرفية، قبل أن يعلن نيته الاستقالة من الجمعية التي أسسها والتفرغ لعمله الفني بينما تتواصل الانتقادات والاتهامات ضده. وتقول تقارير محلية، إن ليفينت استطاع بفضل شهرته وشعبيته وترويج المشاهير لحملته، جمع نحو 158 مليون دولار لصالح متضرري زلزال 2023. وفي ذلك العام، أدرجت مجلة «تايم» هالوك ليفينت، ضمن قائمة أكثر 100 شخصية مؤثرة في عام 2023 بفضل نشاطه الخيري عقب الزلزال.
