كشف والي الخرطوم أحمد عثمان حمزة، اليوم (الخميس)، أن المعركة الجارية تتركّز في الوقت الراهن على تحرير إقليم كردفان، موضحاً أن بشائر النصر بدأت تلوح من مدينتي الدلنج وكادوقلي.
وقال عثمان: عملية التعافي وإعادة الإعمار قد انطلقت عقب عودة الأمن، مبيناً أن الاحتفال بذكرى استقلال السودان من داخل البرلمان يحمل رسالة إيجابية تعكس استعادة مؤسسات الدولة لدورها.
وأشار والي الخرطوم إلى أن النصر سيتحقق في إقليم كردفان، يعقبه التقدم نحو دارفور.
وكان رئيس مجلس السيادة في السودان عبدالفتاح البرهان قد قال إن أبواب المصالحة الوطنية ما زالت مفتوحة، وأن الوطن يسع الجميع، موضحاً أن المعركة التي يخوضها السودان تمثّل معركة وجودية.
وجدّد البرهان التأكيد على التزام القوات المسلحة والقوات المساندة بالوقوف إلى جانب الشعب السوداني وتحقيق تطلعاته في الحرية والسلام والعدالة، موضحاً أن استقلال السودان تحقق بتضحيات الأجداد في محطات تاريخية مفصلية.
ونجح الجيش السوداني في استعادة الخرطوم، فيما لا تزال المعارك مستمرة في عدد من الولايات وسط تصاعد الأزمة الإنسانية والنزوح.
The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, revealed today (Thursday) that the ongoing battle is currently focused on liberating the Kordofan region, explaining that signs of victory are beginning to emerge from the cities of Delingen and Kadugli.
Osman stated: The process of recovery and reconstruction has begun following the return of security, indicating that the celebration of Sudan's Independence Day from within the parliament carries a positive message reflecting the restoration of state institutions to their roles.
The Governor of Khartoum pointed out that victory will be achieved in the Kordofan region, followed by progress towards Darfur.
Sudan’s Sovereign Council Chairman, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, had stated that the doors for national reconciliation remain open, and that the homeland accommodates everyone, clarifying that the battle being fought by Sudan represents an existential struggle.
Al-Burhan reiterated the commitment of the armed forces and supporting forces to stand by the Sudanese people and fulfill their aspirations for freedom, peace, and justice, explaining that Sudan's independence was achieved through the sacrifices of ancestors at pivotal historical moments.
The Sudanese army has succeeded in regaining control of Khartoum, while battles continue in several states amid a worsening humanitarian crisis and displacement.
