قال عضو مجلس حضرموت الوطني سلطان التميمي إن المجلس منذ تأسيسه جاء كمظلة جامعة لكل المكونات الحضرمية التي شاركت في مشاورات الرياض عام 2023م.
وشدد في تصريحات لـ«عكاظ»، على أن المجلس لا يسعى إلى إلغاء أي مكون، بل يعمل على توحيد الرؤية الحضرمية وصياغتها بشكل جامع وتمثيلها في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية.
وأضاف أن الضمانة الحقيقية لاستدامة هذا التوحيد تكمن في انفتاح المجلس على استيعاب جميع القوى الحضرمية والشخصيات السياسية بمختلف توجهاتها، بما يعكس واقع حضرموت وتنوعها، ويؤسس لتوافق قائم على الشراكة لا على الظرفية أو المصالح المؤقتة.
وحول مشاركة حضرموت في الحوار الجنوبي-الجنوبي المرتقب عقده في الرياض، أوضح التميمي أن مجلس حضرموت الوطني ينظر إلى هذا الحوار، الذي يُعقد برعاية سعودية كريمة، باعتباره فرصة حقيقية لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن عمومًا، والجنوب وحضرموت على وجه الخصوص.
وأكد أن الرعاية السعودية تمثل عنصرًا ضامنًا لضبط مسار الحوار وحماية جوهر القضية من محاولات الاستغلال الخارجي.
ولفت التميمي إلى أن لحضرموت والمحافظات الشرقية خصوصية سياسية واجتماعية ومصيرًا مشتركًا، مؤكدًا أن المجلس سيعمل على تثبيت حق أبناء حضرموت في المشاركة العادلة في صناعة القرار السيادي، والتمثيل المنصف في المؤسسات البرلمانية والحكومية والاستشارية والتفاوضية، بما يكفل حماية مصالح حضرموت ويقر بحق المجتمعات المحلية في إدارة شؤونها وتحقيق تنميتها الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية.
وفيما يتعلق بالتحسن الأمني وإعادة تشغيل المطارات، أوضح التميمي أن دور مجلس حضرموت الوطني يقوم على التنسيق والمساندة للسلطة المحلية، بما يسهم في تحويل هذا الاستقرار إلى مكاسب خدمية وتنموية ملموسة، لافتاً إلى أن المجلس يضم إدارات متخصصة في الجوانب الأمنية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والحقوقية، تعمل على إعداد رؤى ومقترحات عملية لدعم جهود التنمية وتحسين مستوى الخدمات وتحقيق تطلعات المواطن الحضرمي في الاستقرار والرخاء.
Member of the National Council of Hadhramaut, Sultan Al-Tamimi, stated that the council, since its establishment, has come as an umbrella uniting all Hadhrami components that participated in the Riyadh consultations in 2023.
He emphasized in statements to "Okaz" that the council does not seek to eliminate any component, but rather works to unify the Hadhrami vision and formulate it in an inclusive manner, representing it in regional and international forums.
He added that the real guarantee for the sustainability of this unification lies in the council's openness to accommodate all Hadhrami forces and political figures with various orientations, reflecting the reality of Hadhramaut and its diversity, and establishing a consensus based on partnership rather than temporary circumstances or interests.
Regarding Hadhramaut's participation in the anticipated South-South dialogue to be held in Riyadh, Al-Tamimi clarified that the National Council of Hadhramaut views this dialogue, which is held under generous Saudi sponsorship, as a real opportunity to enhance security and stability in Yemen as a whole, and in the south and Hadhramaut in particular.
He affirmed that Saudi sponsorship represents a guaranteeing element to regulate the course of the dialogue and protect the essence of the issue from external exploitation attempts.
Al-Tamimi pointed out that Hadhramaut and the eastern governorates have political and social particularities and a shared destiny, emphasizing that the council will work to establish the right of the people of Hadhramaut to participate fairly in sovereign decision-making, and to ensure fair representation in parliamentary, governmental, advisory, and negotiating institutions, which guarantees the protection of Hadhramaut's interests and acknowledges the rights of local communities to manage their affairs and achieve their economic, social, and cultural development.
Regarding security improvements and the reopening of airports, Al-Tamimi explained that the role of the National Council of Hadhramaut is to coordinate and support the local authority, contributing to transforming this stability into tangible service and developmental gains, noting that the council includes specialized departments in security, social, economic, and legal aspects, working on preparing visions and practical proposals to support development efforts, improve service levels, and achieve the aspirations of the Hadhrami citizen for stability and prosperity.
