كشفت وزارة العدل الأمريكية عن مقطع فيديو مسجل خلال عملية سرية لمكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي عام 2009، يظهر ألفريدو رودريغيز، كبير خدم جيفري إبستين السابق، وهو يحاول بيع ما يُعرف بـ«الكتاب الأسود الصغير» الخاص بالممول المدان بجرائم الجنس، إلى عميل متخفٍّ من FBI.
وبحسب تقرير نشرته صحيفة «تلغراف» البريطانية، يصف رودريغيز الكتاب في التسجيل بأنه يحتوي على «عناوين الضحايا والعملاء»، مشيراً إلى غيسلين ماكسويل شريكة إبستين المدانة بأنها «سيدة إنجليزية قوية جداً»، ويطلب رودريغيز مبلغاً يصل إلى 50 ألف دولار مقابل الكتاب، الذي يضم قائمة واسعة بأسماء شخصيات بارزة في السياسة والأعمال والترفيه.

However, the repeated appearance of these names does not necessarily imply direct involvement in the crimes but often reflects social or professional relationships with Epstein before his scandals were exposed.

The book features notable figures in finance, entertainment, and politics, including financier Carl Icahn, trade giant John Catsimatidis, actress Morgan Fairchild, Susan Irsha, wife of Woody Johnson, former auto industry executive Stephen Ratner, and Martin Peretz, the former owner of "The New Republic." The entries also show addresses and phone numbers for properties owned by Epstein or his associates, mapping out the social network he managed.
The revelation of the new video comes amid a series of releases of "Epstein Files" since 2025, comprising millions of pages of documents, keeping the case at the forefront of public discussion and raising questions about the comprehensiveness of previous investigations and why more involved parties have not been held accountable.
The Department of Justice confirmed that these materials are part of ongoing efforts for transparency, while observers believe that such leaks are putting pressure back on the mentioned figures to clarify or deny any real connection to the crimes.
