لم تكن فاطمة خليل تتوقع أن زيارتها إلى منزل خطيبها في منطقة الكاب جنوب محافظة بورسعيد المصرية ستكون الأخيرة. لكن خلافاً عائلياً حول شقة الزوجية تحوّل فجأة إلى جريمة أنهت حياتها، وأدخلت الأسرتين في دوامة من التحقيقات والاتهامات.
وكانت الأجهزة الأمنية المصرية تلقت إخطارًا بالعثور على جثمان فتاة داخل شقة خطيبها. وانتقلت قوات الشرطة على الفور، وفُرض طوق أمني حول المكان، وتم نقل الجثمان إلى مشرحة مستشفى 30 يونيو تحت تصرف النيابة.
وفي الساعات الأولى، بدت القصة غامضة. وتضاربت أقوال الحاضرين داخل المنزل، وتعددت الروايات، ما عزز الاشتباه في وجود شبهة جنائية.
التحريات الأولية أشارت في البداية إلى فتاة من العائلة (ابنة شقيقة خطيب الضحية)، قبل أن تكشف التحقيقات أن المتهمة الحقيقية هي زوجة شقيق خطيب الضحية. هذه المفاجأة قلبت مسار القضية بالكامل، خصوصا مع ارتباط الدافع بخلافات أسرية حول ترتيبات السكن بعد الزواج.
وبحسب التحقيقات، كان هناك اقتراح بتبديل الشقق داخل العائلة، بحيث ينتقل العروسان إلى شقة أكبر، مقابل حصول شقيق الخطيب وزوجته على الشقة الأصغر، لكن هذا المقترح أثار غضب المتهمة التي رفضت الانتقال، لتتصاعد التوترات بين الطرفين.
وفي يوم الحادثة، تجدد النقاش حول الموضوع نفسه، قبل أن تتحول المشادة إلى واقعة مأساوية انتهت بمقتل الفتاة.
واليوم، قررت النيابة العامة المصرية حبس المتهمة أربعة أيام على ذمة التحقيقات، مع استمرار التحريات لكشف كافة التفاصيل الدقيقة للواقعة، في قضية أثارت صدمة واسعة داخل المحافظة، لأن الجريمة بدأت بخلاف على مساحة سكن وانتهت بخسارة حياة.

However, a family dispute over the marital apartment suddenly turned into a crime that ended her life, plunging both families into a whirlwind of investigations and accusations.
The Egyptian security forces received a notification about the discovery of a girl's body inside her fiancé's apartment. The police immediately moved to the scene, imposed a security cordon around the area, and the body was transferred to the morgue of June 30 Hospital under the supervision of the prosecution.
In the early hours, the story appeared mysterious. The statements of those present in the house conflicted, and multiple narratives emerged, which heightened suspicion of a criminal element.
Initial investigations initially pointed to a girl from the family (the victim's fiancé's sister's daughter), before further investigations revealed that the real suspect was the wife of the victim's fiancé's brother. This surprise completely changed the course of the case, especially as the motive was linked to family disputes over housing arrangements after marriage.
According to the investigations, there was a proposal to swap apartments within the family, so that the newlyweds would move to a larger apartment, in exchange for the fiancé's brother and his wife receiving the smaller apartment. However, this proposal angered the suspect, who refused to move, escalating tensions between the two parties.
On the day of the incident, the discussion about the same issue resumed, before the argument turned into a tragic event that ended with the girl's murder.
Today, the Egyptian Public Prosecution decided to detain the suspect for four days pending investigations, while continuing to gather details about the incident in a case that has shocked the province, as the crime began with a dispute over living space and ended with the loss of a life.
