فيما أكد مسؤول إسرائيلي أن المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي والرئيس مسعود بزشكيان تم استهدافهما في الهجمات، بحسب ما أفادت وكالة «رويترز»، إلا أنه أعلن أن نتائج هذه الضربات لم تتضح بعد.
وأوضح مسؤول عسكري إسرائيلي أن إسرائيل ما زالت تحدد مدى نجاح الضربات الأولية على إيران.
من جانبها، أكدت مصادر إيرانية أن المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي والرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان ووزير الخارجية عباس عراقجي بخير، وفق ما نقلت وسائل إعلام إيرانية.
بدورها، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية أنها سترد بحزم، بعدما شنت إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة ضربات على أراضيها رغم استمرار المفاوضات مع واشنطن. وقالت في بيان «سترد القوات المسلحة بحزم على المعتدين»، مؤكدة أن طهران فعلت «كل ما يلزم لتجنّب الحرب».
وأضافت أن البلاد كانت مستعدة للمفاوضات، لكنها أكدت أن «طهران الآن أكثر استعداداً من أي وقت مضى للدفاع عن شعبها».
من جانبه، أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أن ضرباته على إيران بالتنسيق مع الولايات المتحدة استهدفت «عشرات» المواقع العسكرية وجاءت بعد أشهر من «التخطيط المشترك والمكثف» بين الحليفين.
وذكر في بيان أن الضربة استهدفت عشرات الأهداف العسكرية ونُفذت في إطار عملية واسعة ومنسقة ومشتركة ضد النظام. وأضاف أنه «في الأشهر التي سبقت الضربات، جرى تخطيط مشترك ومكثف بين الجيش الإسرائيلي والجيش الأمريكي، مما سمح بتنفيذ العملية الواسعة بتزامن وتنسيق كاملين بين الجيشين».

For its part, the Israeli army announced that its strikes on Iran, coordinated with the United States, targeted "dozens" of military sites and came after months of "joint and intensive planning" between the allies.
