في تصعيد خطير يتجاوز القصف الصاروخي على طهران، اخترقت إسرائيل عدداً من التطبيقات الإيرانية بينها تطبيق شهير لمواقيت الصلاة، بهدف إيصال رسائل تدعو عسكريين إلى الانشقاق.
وتداول ناشطون إيرانيون صوراً لإختراق إسرائيل لتطبيق "تقويم باده صبا" الذي يُستخدم لتتبع أوقات الصلاة، ويتمتع بانتشار واسع داخل البلاد، وجرى تحميله أكثر من 5 ملايين مرة عبر متجر جوجل بلاي وحده.
وأشار الناشطون إلى أنهم تلقوا إشعارات باللغة الفارسية تضمنت رسالة تقول إن المساعدة قد وصلت، داعية أفراد القوات المسلحة الإيرانية إلى الانشقاق والانضمام إلى ما وُصف بجهود تحرير البلاد.
وذكرت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» أن اختراق التطبيق ضمن موجة أوسع من العمليات السيبرانية التي تزامنت مع ضربات عسكرية إسرائيلية وأمريكية، فيما ذكرت وسائل إعلام رسمية إيرانية أن عدداً من المواقع الإخبارية، بينها وكالة الأنباء الرسمية «إرنا»، تعرضت للاختراق، حيث نُشرت على صفحاتها الرئيسية مواد تتناول الهجمات وتهاجم النظام.
وعرضت الصفحة الأولى لوكالة لـ«إرنا»: «ساعة مرعبة لقوات أمن نظام الملالي، لقد تلقى الحرس الثوري والباسيج ضربة قاصمة»، مما يشير إلى اتساع نطاق المواجهة ليشمل الفضاء الإلكتروني إلى جانب التطورات الميدانية.
In a serious escalation that goes beyond the missile strikes on Tehran, Israel has breached several Iranian applications, including a popular prayer times app, with the aim of sending messages urging military personnel to defect.
Iranian activists circulated images of Israel's breach of the "Badeh Saba Calendar" app, which is used to track prayer times and enjoys widespread use within the country, having been downloaded over 5 million times just from the Google Play Store.
Activists noted that they received notifications in Persian containing a message stating that help had arrived, calling on members of the Iranian armed forces to defect and join what was described as efforts to liberate the country.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the app breach is part of a broader wave of cyber operations that coincided with Israeli and American military strikes, while Iranian state media reported that several news websites, including the official news agency IRNA, were hacked, with materials related to the attacks and criticism of the regime published on their homepages.
The front page of the IRNA agency displayed: "A terrifying hour for the security forces of the mullahs' regime; the Revolutionary Guard and Basij have received a crushing blow," indicating that the scope of confrontation has expanded to include the cyber realm alongside battlefield developments.
