في مشهد يعكس روح رمضان ومعانيه السامية، اجتمع سكان حي الصحافة في مدينة أبها على مائدة إفطار واحدة، جمعت أبناء الحي من السعوديين وعددا من الجاليات المقيمة، في أجواء سادتها الألفة والمودة.
المبادرة التي اعتاد الأهالي على تنظيمها كل عام، حملت هذا العام طابعاً أكثر دفئاً، حيث تنوعت أطباق الإفطار بين الأكلات الشعبية والرمضانية، في صورة جسدت روح المشاركة والتكافل الاجتماعي. ولم يكن الهدف مجرد اجتماع على الطعام، بل تعزيز الروابط الإنسانية بين الجيران، وترسيخ قيم الاحترام والتقدير المتبادل.
وأكد عدد من سكان الحي، من بينهم مشبب وسعد الأحمري وفهد البشري وعبدالسلام القحطاني وعبدالرحمن حمحوم، أن هذه المبادرة تأتي انطلاقاً من واجب ديني وأخوي، وحرصاً على مشاركة الجاليات المقيمة فرحة الشهر الفضيل، مشيرين إلى أن الإفطار الجماعي أصبح تقليداً سنوياً يعكس طبيعة المجتمع السعودي المتآلف.
من جانبهما، عبّر يحيى عسيري وظافر الأحمري عن سعادتهما بما تحقق من تفاعل واسع وحضور لافت، مؤكدين أن مثل هذه اللقاءات تعزز روح الجيرة وتقرّب المسافات بين الجميع.
كما عبّر عدد من المقيمين عن امتنانهم لهذه اللفتة، مشيدين بكرم الضيافة وحسن الاستقبال، ومؤكدين أن هذه المبادرات تعكس الصورة الحقيقية للمجتمع السعودي وقيمه القائمة على الاحترام والتعايش.
In a scene that reflects the spirit of Ramadan and its noble meanings, the residents of the Al-Sahafa neighborhood in Abha gathered around a single iftar table, bringing together the neighborhood's Saudi residents and several expatriate communities, in an atmosphere filled with warmth and affection.
The initiative, which the locals have been organizing every year, this year carried a warmer tone, as the iftar dishes varied between traditional and Ramadan foods, embodying the spirit of sharing and social solidarity. The goal was not merely to gather around food, but to strengthen human bonds among neighbors and to instill values of mutual respect and appreciation.
Several residents of the neighborhood, including Mashab, Saad Al-Ahmari, Fahd Al-Bushri, Abdul Salam Al-Qahtani, and Abdul Rahman Hamhoom, confirmed that this initiative stems from a religious and brotherly duty, and a desire to share the joy of the holy month with the expatriate communities, noting that the communal iftar has become an annual tradition that reflects the nature of the harmonious Saudi society.
For their part, Yahya Asiri and Dhafir Al-Ahmari expressed their happiness with the wide interaction and notable attendance, affirming that such gatherings enhance the spirit of neighborliness and bring everyone closer together.
Several expatriates also expressed their gratitude for this gesture, praising the hospitality and warm welcome, and affirming that these initiatives reflect the true image of Saudi society and its values based on respect and coexistence.
