أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، عن رصد مكافأة تصل إلى 10 ملايين دولار مقابل معلومات تقود إلى اعتقال أو إدانة شقيقين يُعتقد أنهما من أبرز قادة عصابة سينالوا في ولاية باها كاليفورنيا، التي تضم مدينة تيخوانا الحدودية.
اتهامات جديدة تطال «لا رانا»
تزامن الإعلان مع كشف السلطات الأمريكية عن لائحة اتهام معدّلة بحق رينيه أرزاتي غارسيا (42 عاماً)، المعروف بلقب «لا رانا».
وكانت قد وُجهت إليه سابقاً تهم تتعلق بجرائم مخدرات في سان دييغو، قبل أن تتوسع لائحة الاتهام لتشمل التآمر، وإرهاب المخدرات، وتقديم دعم مادي لمنظمة إرهابية أجنبية مصنّفة.
5 ملايين لكل شقيق.. والمكان مجهول
العرض الأمريكي يقسم المكافأة إلى شطرين:

السيطرة على المعبر الأخطر في نصف الكرة الغربي
بحسب بيان وزارة الخارجية، فإن الشقيقين يسيطران على نقطة تهريب حيوية في تيخوانا على الحدود مع الولايات المتحدة، ما يجعلهما عنصرين أساسيين في هيكل القيادة والسيطرة داخل عصابة سينالوا.
وأكدت الوزارة أن إحكام قبضتهما على ساحة تيخوانا يمنح العصابة أفضلية تكتيكية في مواجهة التنظيمات المنافسة، ويضمن استمرار عملياتها عبر أكثر المعابر الحدودية ازدحاماً في نصف الكرة الغربي.
حدود مشتعلة بين سينالوا وخاليسكو
وتُعد الحدود بين ولاية كاليفورنيا والمكسيك ساحة صراع محتدم بين عصابة سينالوا ومنافستها الشرسة عصابة خاليسكو الجيل الجديد، في معركة نفوذ تتحكم بمليارات الدولارات من تجارة المخدرات وطرق التهريب إلى الداخل الأمريكي.
The U.S. Department of State announced a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of two brothers believed to be among the top leaders of the Sinaloa cartel in Baja California, which includes the border city of Tijuana.
New charges against "La Rana"
The announcement coincided with U.S. authorities revealing an amended indictment against Rene Arzate Garcia (42), known by the nickname "La Rana".
He had previously faced charges related to drug crimes in San Diego, before the indictment expanded to include conspiracy, drug trafficking, and providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
$5 million for each brother... and their whereabouts are unknown
The U.S. offer divides the reward into two parts:

$5 million for information about Rene Arzate Garcia.

$5 million more for information about his brother Alfonso Arzate Garcia (52), known as "Akillis".
The whereabouts of the brothers remain unknown at this time.
Control over the most dangerous crossing in the Western Hemisphere
According to the State Department's statement, the brothers control a vital smuggling point in Tijuana on the border with the United States, making them key figures in the leadership and control structure within the Sinaloa cartel.
The department confirmed that their stronghold over the Tijuana area gives the cartel a tactical advantage against competing organizations and ensures the continuation of its operations through the busiest border crossings in the Western Hemisphere.
