نُفذ في مكة المكرمة مشروع تطوير وأنسنة مواقف كدي ضمن أعمال التطوير المستمر والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للسكان والزوار.
وقالت الهيئة الملكية لمدينة مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة إن الخطوة تأتي ركيزة أساسية لدعم النقل الترددي وتسهيل وصول المعتمرين إلى المسجد الحرام في ذروة الموسم الرمضاني، إذ تمتد أعمال التطوير على مساحة شاسعة تصل إلى 96000 متر مربع جُهزت لتكون محطة لوجستية متكاملة، كما تم تخصيص مساحات لـ246 موقفاً للحافلات وإنشاء مظلات واقية بمساحة 2300 متر مربع، إضافة إلى 16 منطقة جلوس و8 مجمعات لدورات المياه مع تشجير الموقع بـ103 أشجار لتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية.
وأكدت الهيئة أن المشروع يهدف إلى تحقيق رؤية تشغيلية شاملة ورفع كفاءة النقل الترددي وتقليص زمن الانتظار وضمان انسيابية حركة الحافلات من وإلى المنطقة المركزية، كما يساهم في تنظيم إدارة الحشود والمسارات الداخلية وأرصفة التحميل والتنزيل لضمان سلامة ضيوف الرحمن وتقليل الاعتماد على المركبات الصغيرة في المنطقة المركزية عبر توفير بديل نقل عام متطور.
A project for the development and humanization of the Kadi parking area has been implemented in Mecca as part of the continuous development efforts to enhance the level of services provided to residents and visitors.
The Royal Commission for the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites stated that this step is a fundamental pillar to support shuttle transport and facilitate the access of pilgrims to the Grand Mosque during the peak of the Ramadan season. The development works extend over a vast area of 96,000 square meters, equipped to be a comprehensive logistics station. Spaces have been allocated for 246 bus parking spots, and protective canopies covering an area of 2,300 square meters have been constructed, in addition to 16 seating areas and 8 restroom complexes, along with the planting of 103 trees to enhance environmental sustainability.
The Commission confirmed that the project aims to achieve a comprehensive operational vision, improve the efficiency of shuttle transport, reduce waiting times, and ensure the smooth movement of buses to and from the central area. It also contributes to organizing crowd management, internal pathways, and loading and unloading docks to ensure the safety of the guests of Allah and reduce reliance on small vehicles in the central area by providing an advanced public transport alternative.
