بنفس براءة الزميل أحمد الشمراني وسؤاله البريء الذي طرحه في مقال صحفي بعنوان «من حرضّ الاتحاد»، أجد، بمنطق مماثل، أنه من حقي أن أسأله: «من الذي حرضّك يا أحمد لتكتب هذا المقال؟».. وأرجو ألا يزعجك سؤالي هذا ومقالي، علماً بأنني أعلم أن لديك «حساسية» زائدة وبالغة جداً، تجاه آرائي النقدية، سواء تجاهك شخصياً أو تجاه الفكر الذي تنطلق منه وتبني عليه آراءك الغريبة.

- كنت أحسب، بعد زمالة وعِشرة سنوات، أنك قد اكتسبت «مناعة كافية» تمكّنك من قبول ما أطرحه بروح معنوية عالية، خاصة وأنك قد اعتدت، على مدى ربع قرن، على صراحتي الشديدة ونقدي الذي لا يرحم، ولم تأخذني فيه لومة لائم.

- وما دمت قد سألت سؤالاً، كان من المفترض أن تسهّل عليك أخلاقيات المهنة وأدبيات السلوك العام الإجابة عنه، أو على الأقل أن تدرك أبعاد الشكوى التي تقدّمت بها إدارة الاتحاد ضد سلوكيات اللاعب توني، فأقول لك بصراحة ودقة: نعم، ألف نعم، هناك من حرضّ إدارة نادي الاتحاد على تقديم هذه الشكوى.

- مصدر هذا التحريض يا أحمد هو أخلاقيات، ياما وياما كتبت أنت عنها تجاه أندية ولاعبين ليس لهم علاقة بالنادي الأهلي، لأنك كالعادة، تتوارى عن الأنظار خجلاً وكسوفاً، يمنعك من الكتابة. ومنبع هذا التحريض أيضاً الذي أقلق مضجعك هو ضمير «صاحٍ حي» لا يقبل أن تنتشر مثل هذه السلوكيات في ملاعبنا، ويشاهدها أبناؤنا وبناتنا مهما كان المبرر، ناهيك عن تحريض أنظمة، ياما وياما طالبنا بقلمي وقلمك وزملاء آخرين لجنة الانضباط بتطبيقها.

- صدقني، يا صديق الحرف، لست مستغرباً أن يغيب قلمك عن قول كلمة «الحق»، وكان الأحرى بك أن تكون «سبّاقاً» لدعم الروح الرياضية ونبذ أي سلوك مسيء، وأعلم يقيناً أنني مهما قدّمت لك من نصائح فلن تجدي معك. أما السبب فسوف أذكره في مقال مقبل، إذا اضطررت إليه.

- أخيراً وليس آخراً، هذا الرأي ليس هجوماً شخصياً، بل محاولة لتسليط الضوء على الوقائع، وفهم السياق الذي يتحرك فيه كل من يكتب ويؤثر في جمهورنا، خاصة في مجال الرياضة، حيث الأخلاق قبل الأداء تأتي دائماً في المقام الأول، والله الهادي إلى سواء السبيل وهو المستعان.
