أعلنت Sony رسميًا رفع أسعار أجهزة PlayStation 5 وPlayStation 5 Pro في مختلف الأسواق العالمية، اعتبارًا من 2 أبريل 2026، مؤكدة عبر منصتها الرسمية PlayStation Blog أن القرار جاء نتيجة «الضغوط المستمرة في الاقتصاد العالمي»، وفق ما ذكرته الشركة في بيانها، مشيرة إلى أن ارتفاع تكاليف الإنتاج وسلاسل الإمداد فرض إعادة تقييم الأسعار لضمان استدامة تقديم تجارب ألعاب عالية الجودة.

وبيّنت الشركة أن الأسعار الجديدة جاءت بزيادة مباشرة مقارنة بالتسعير السابق، حيث ارتفع سعر جهاز PS5 القياسي من 549.99 دولارًا (نحو 2,062 ريالًا) إلى 649.99 دولار (نحو 2,437 ريالًا)، بزيادة تُقدّر بنحو 375 ريالًا، فيما صعدت النسخة الرقمية من 499.99 دولار (1,875 ريالًا) إلى 599.99 دولار (2,250 ريالًا) بنفس مقدار الزيادة تقريبًا.
أما جهاز PS5 Pro، فقد سجّل الارتفاع الأكبر، إذ انتقل من 749.99 دولار (نحو 2,812 ريالًا) إلى 899.99 دولار (قرابة 3,375 ريالًا)، بفارق يصل إلى نحو 563 ريالًا، في خطوة تعكس تصاعد تكاليف المكونات التقنية المتقدمة.
