أعلنت مؤسسة البترول الكويتية تعرض مصفاة ميناء الأحمدي فجر اليوم (الجمعة)، لاستهداف آثم بطائرات مسيرة ما أدى إلى اندلاع حرائق في عدد من الوحدات التشغيلية.
وأكدت المؤسسة أن فرق الطوارئ والإطفاء باشرت تنفيذ خطط الاستجابة وتعمل على احتواء الحرائق ومنع امتدادها.
وأوضحت أنه لم يتم تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية وأنها اتخذت الإجراءات الاحترازية لضمان سلامة العاملين وحماية المنشآت.
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that the Ahmadi Port refinery was subjected to a malicious attack by drones early this morning (Friday), which led to fires breaking out in several operational units.
The corporation confirmed that emergency and firefighting teams have begun implementing response plans and are working to contain the fires and prevent their spread.
It clarified that no human injuries have been reported and that precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of workers and protect the facilities.
