قبل ساعات من انطلاق المفاوضات في إسلام آباد، بين الوفدين الأمريكي والإيراني من أجل التوصل لاتفاق ينهي الحرب بشكل قاطع، أفاد مساعد وزير الخارجية الإيرانية مجيد تخت روانتشي بأن بلاده ترحب بالدبلوماسية، وليس بحوار يتيح الاستعداد لهجوم جديد.
وقال روانتشي في تصريحات، اليوم (الجمعة): «لا نرغب في وقف لإطلاق النار يسمح للعدو بإعادة تسليح نفسه»، وفق ما نقلت وكالة «تسنيم».
وأضاف أن بلاده «ترحب دائماً بالدبلوماسية لكن ليس بحوار يستند إلى معلومات خاطئة بهدف الخداع والتمهيد لعدوان جديد ضدها».
وزعم أن نهج إيران تجاه دول المنطقة يقوم على مبدأ حسن الجوار، وأنه لا يجب على تلك الدول أن تعتبر العمليات الإيرانية هجوماً ضدها بل استهدافاً للقواعد الأمريكية، وفق زعمه.
من جهته، جدد رئيس لجنة الأمن القومي الإيرانية إبراهيم عزيزي التأكيد على موقف بلاده حول مضيق هرمز. ولفت إلى أن مضيق هرمز لن يعود إلى نظام السيطرة قبل الحرب. وأكد أن المضيق سيخضع لسيطرة كاملة من قبل القوات المسلحة.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب حذر في وقت سابق اليوم، إيران من الاستمرار في عرقلة الملاحة في هذا الممر المائي الحيوي، أو فرض رسوم على سفن الشحن.
ومن المنتظر أن يسافر رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، الذي يرأس وفد بلاده في المفاوضات المباشرة مع الولايات المتحدة، إلى إسلام آباد، برفقة وزير الخارجية عباس عراقجي، علماً أن وسائل إعلام باكستانية أفادت بوصولهما.
ويتوقع وصول الوفد الأمريكي الذي يرأسه نائب الرئيس جي دي فانس، برفقة المبعوث الخاص ستيف ويتكفوف، وصهر الرئيس جاريد كوشنير، إلى العاصمة الباكستانية، بعد مغادرته الولايات المتحدة.
Hours before the negotiations in Islamabad began between the American and Iranian delegations to reach an agreement that definitively ends the war, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi stated that his country welcomes diplomacy, but not dialogue that prepares for a new attack.
Takht-Ravanchi said in statements today (Friday): “We do not wish for a ceasefire that allows the enemy to rearm itself,” according to the Tasnim news agency.
He added that his country “always welcomes diplomacy but not dialogue based on false information aimed at deception and paving the way for new aggression against it.”
He claimed that Iran's approach towards the countries in the region is based on the principle of good neighborliness, and that those countries should not consider Iranian operations as an attack against them but rather as targeting American bases, according to his claims.
For his part, the head of the Iranian National Security Committee, Ibrahim Azizi, reiterated his country's position regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He noted that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to the control system that existed before the war. He confirmed that the strait will be under complete control by the armed forces.
Earlier today, U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran against continuing to disrupt navigation in this vital waterway or imposing fees on shipping vessels.
It is expected that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, who heads his country's delegation in direct negotiations with the United States, will travel to Islamabad, accompanied by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, noting that Pakistani media reported their arrival.
The American delegation, headed by Vice President J.D. Vance, accompanied by Special Envoy Steve Wittekov and President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, is expected to arrive in the Pakistani capital after leaving the United States.
