برعاية نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، ونيابةً عنه، كرّم محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، اليوم، 2879 حافظاً وحافظةً لكتاب الله، في الحفل السنوي لجمعية «خيركم» لتعليم القرآن وتحفيظه بمنطقة مكة، بحضور عدد من وجهاء محافظة جدة.
وفور وصول محافظ جدة عُزف السلام الملكي، ثم تُليت آيات من القرآن الكريم.
وألقى رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية المهندس عبدالعزيز حنفي كلمة أعرب فيها عن شكره لنائب أمير المنطقة على رعايته الحفل، ولمحافظ جدة على حضوره وتشريفه، مستعرضاً مسيرة «خيركم» التي تجاوزت خمسة عقود.
وأبرز إنجازات الجمعية المتمثلة في وصول عدد طلابها وطالباتها إلى 67 ألفاً، ومستفيديها إلى مليونين وسبعمائة ألف مستفيد ومستفيدة في 139 دولة حول العالم، وحصد طلابها وطالباتها سنوياً المراكز الأولى في جائزة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز لحفظ القرآن الكريم وتلاوته وتفسيره للبنين والبنات على مستوى المملكة، والدور الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة من عناية بالقرآن الكريم طباعةً وتعليماً ودستوراً لهذه البلاد المباركة.
بعد ذلك، شاهد محافظ جدة والحضور عرضاً مرئياً يحكي مسيرة الجمعية ومنجزاتها خلال عام.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرّم محافظ جدة الطلاب الأوائل على مستوى المحافظة، والجهات الراعية والداعمة.
يُذكر أنه أقيم صباح اليوم حفل تكريمي لحافظات القرآن بالشطر النسائي، بحضور الأميرة منال بنت مساعد بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، وأُعلنت فيه أسماء الـ 13 الأُوَل من الحافظات.
Under the patronage of the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, and on his behalf, the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, honored today 2,879 male and female memorizers of the Holy Quran at the annual ceremony of the "Khayrkom" Association for Quran Education and Memorization in the Makkah Region, in the presence of several dignitaries from the Jeddah Governorate.
Upon the arrival of the Governor of Jeddah, the royal anthem was played, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
The Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, Engineer Abdulaziz Hanfi, delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Emir of the region for his patronage of the ceremony, and to the Governor of Jeddah for his presence and honor, reviewing the journey of "Khayrkom," which has exceeded five decades.
He highlighted the Association's achievements, which include reaching a total of 67,000 male and female students, and benefiting 2.7 million beneficiaries in 139 countries around the world. He noted that its students annually secure top positions in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Award for Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation for boys and girls at the national level, as well as the significant role played by the wise leadership in caring for the Holy Quran through printing, education, and as a constitution for this blessed country.
After that, the Governor of Jeddah and the attendees watched a visual presentation showcasing the Association's journey and achievements over the past year.
At the end of the ceremony, the Governor of Jeddah honored the top students at the governorate level, as well as the sponsoring and supporting entities.
It is noteworthy that a ceremony was held this morning to honor female Quran memorizers, attended by Princess Manal bint Musaad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, where the names of the top 13 female memorizers were announced.
