جاء هدف ريال مدريد عن طريق النجم البرازيلي فينيسيوس جونيور، بتسديدة أرضية من داخل منطقة الجزاء إلى يسار حارس إشبيلية، بعد تمريرة من كيليان مبابي.
وأوقف ريال مدريد صحوة إشبيلية، بعدما دخل اللقاء محققاً ثلاثة انتصارات متتالية، لكن الفريق الأندلسي ضمن بقاءه في الليغا، رغم الخسارة أمام الملكي.
ترتيب الفريقين
بهذه النتيجة، رفع ريال مدريد رصيده إلى 83 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب الليغا، متأخراً بـ11 نقطة عن برشلونة الذي حسم اللقب قبل ثلاث جولات من نهاية المسابقة.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد إشبيلية عند 43 نقطة في المركز الـ13، بعد تلقيه الهزيمة الـ18 هذا الموسم.

With this result, Real Madrid raised their points total to 83, sitting in second place in the La Liga standings, 11 points behind Barcelona, who clinched the title three rounds before the end of the competition.
On the other hand, Sevilla's points total remained at 43 in 13th place, after suffering their 18th defeat this season.
