أكد لاعب المنتخب السعودي علي لاجامي أن لاعبي «الأخضر» عازمون على التعويض والعودة بشكل أقوى في المباراة القادمة، بعد الخسارة أمام المنتخب الإسباني برباعية نظيفة ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من المجموعة الثامنة في كأس العالم 2026.

ووجّه لاجامي رسالة إلى الجماهير السعودية، مؤكداً أن دعمهم وثقتهم يمثلان دافعاً كبيراً للاعبين لتقديم الأفضل في المواجهة القادمة، وقال: «نعد الجماهير السعودية بالتعويض والعودة بشكل أقوى في المباراة القادمة، دعمكم وثقتكم دافع لنا لتقديم الأفضل وإسعادكم بإذن الله».

وكان المنتخب السعودي قد واجه صعوبة أمام نظيره الإسباني، الذي فرض أفضليته خلال اللقاء وحقق فوزه الرابع تاريخياً على «الأخضر»، مستفيداً من السيطرة والاستحواذ والسرعة في بناء الهجمات، فيما يسعى المنتخب السعودي لتصحيح المسار في مباراته الأخيرة أمام منتخب الرأس الأخضر، التي ستكون حاسمة في تحديد مصيره بالبطولة.
