في لحظات قليلة، تحولت ليلة هادئة إلى مأساة أنهت حياة أسرة بأكملها، بعدما ضربت صاعقة رعدية منزلهم، لتخلف صدمة واسعة بين سكان المنطقة وتثير تساؤلات حول أسباب الحادثة.
لقيت أسرة يمنية مكونة من خمسة أفراد مصرعها إثر صاعقة رعدية استهدفت منزلها في بلدة «زارة» التابعة لمديرية فرع العدين، غربي محافظة إب وسط اليمن، في حادثة مأساوية هزّت الأهالي.
وبحسب مصادر محلية، كان الأب وزوجته وأطفالهما الثلاثة مجتمعين داخل إحدى غرف المنزل لحظة وقوع الصاعقة، ما أدى إلى وفاتهم جميعًا في الحال.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام محلية بأن سكان المنطقة طالبوا الجهات المختصة بفتح تحقيق في ملابسات الحادثة، مشيرين إلى احتمال تأثر مسار الصاعقة بوجود برج اتصالات تابع لشركة محلية بالقرب من المنزل، في ظل غياب وسائل الحماية اللازمة، وهو ما لم تؤكده السلطات رسميًا حتى الآن.

A Yemeni family consisting of five members lost their lives due to a lightning strike that targeted their home in the town of "Zara," which is part of the Far'a Al-Adin district, west of Ibb Governorate in central Yemen, in a tragic incident that shook the locals.
According to local sources, the father, his wife, and their three children were gathered inside one of the rooms of the house at the moment the lightning struck, resulting in their immediate deaths.
Local media reported that residents of the area called on the relevant authorities to open an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, pointing out the possibility that the path of the lightning was affected by the presence of a telecommunications tower belonging to a local company near the house, in light of the absence of necessary protective measures, which has not yet been officially confirmed by the authorities.
