تفاصيل الواقعة التي حدثت في حي الياسمين ببلدية «بئر الجير»، كانت أشبه بكابوس، فالطفلان اللذان حاصرتهما النيران والدخان الكثيف كانا على وشك القفز من شرفة الطابق العاشر هرباً من الجحيم.

At this moment, the young man known as "Bichou" intervened, showcasing his incredible speed as he jumped between balconies, undeterred by the deadly risk of falling. Upon reaching the burning balcony, he did the following:
- Psychological control: He reassured the terrified children and prevented them from making the catastrophic decision to jump.
- Shield of protection: He used wet blankets to wrap the children and protect them from the searing heat and suffocation.
