أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي مقتل قادة من حركة حماس في غارات نفذها خلال الأيام الماضية في قطاع غزة، بينهم قائد الشرطة البحرية، إضافة إلى مسؤولين عسكريين آخرين.
وقال الجيش في بيان، اليوم الأحد، إن إحدى الغارات استهدفت عبدالرحمن ماهر عبدالكريم زيادة، الذي وصفه بأنه قائد خلية في قوات النخبة التابعة لكتائب القسام الجناح العسكري لحماس، مشيراً إلى أنه شارك في هجوم السابع من أكتوبر 2023، واقتحم الأراضي الإسرائيلية، واستولى على مركبة عسكرية ونقلها إلى داخل قطاع غزة.
وأضاف أن غارة أخرى نُفذت في منطقة خان يونس أسفرت عن مقتل كمال محمد حمدان النجار، الذي قال إنه كان يتولى رئاسة وحدة الأنفاق في منطقة خان يونس التابعة لكتائب القسام، وإنه شارك خلال الحرب في التخطيط لهجمات ضد القوات الإسرائيلية العاملة داخل القطاع.
وأفاد جيش الاحتلال بأن قائد الشرطة البحرية التابعة لحماس قتل في مخيمات وسط قطاع غزة، إلى جانب ضابطين آخرين، من دون أن يقدم تفاصيل إضافية حول توقيت العملية أو هوية القتيلين الآخرين.
وأكد الجيش أن الأشخاص المستهدفين «شكلوا تهديداً مباشراً للقوات الإسرائيلية، مضيفاً أن العمليات نُفذت بناءً على معلومات استخباراتية وباستخدام غارات وصفها بـ«الدقيقة».
من جانبها، قالت المتحدثة باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي إيلا واوية إن القوات المنتشرة في قيادة المنطقة الجنوبية تواصل عملياتها «وفقاً للاتفاقات القائمة»، مؤكدة أن الجيش سيواصل استهداف أي تهديد تعتبره فورياً داخل قطاع غزة.
ويواصل الجيش الإسرائيلي تنفيذ غارات وعمليات ميدانية في مناطق متفرقة من القطاع، بالتزامن مع استمرار الحرب، وسط غياب أي مؤشرات على التوصل إلى اتفاق دائم لوقف إطلاق النار.
The Israeli army announced the killing of leaders from Hamas in airstrikes carried out over the past few days in the Gaza Strip, including the commander of the naval police, in addition to other military officials.
The army stated in a statement today, Sunday, that one of the airstrikes targeted Abdulrahman Maher Abdulkarim Ziyada, whom it described as a commander of a cell in the elite forces of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, noting that he participated in the attack on October 7, 2023, breached Israeli territory, and seized a military vehicle, transporting it into the Gaza Strip.
It added that another strike carried out in the Khan Younis area resulted in the death of Kamal Muhammad Hamdan al-Najjar, who it said was in charge of the tunnel unit in the Khan Younis area affiliated with the al-Qassam Brigades, and that he participated during the war in planning attacks against Israeli forces operating inside the sector.
The occupying army reported that the commander of the naval police affiliated with Hamas was killed in camps in central Gaza, along with two other officers, without providing additional details about the timing of the operation or the identities of the other two killed.
The army confirmed that the targeted individuals "posed a direct threat to Israeli forces," adding that the operations were carried out based on intelligence information and using what it described as "precise" airstrikes.
For her part, Israeli army spokesperson Eila Wawiya stated that the forces deployed in the southern command continue their operations "in accordance with existing agreements," affirming that the army will continue to target any threat it considers immediate within the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army continues to carry out airstrikes and field operations in various areas of the sector, coinciding with the ongoing war, amid the absence of any indications of reaching a permanent ceasefire agreement.
