تستمر الموجة الحارة في المنطقة الشرقية اليوم (الإثنين) حتى الساعة السابعة مساءً
نبّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد إلى أن الموجة تصل ما بين 47 و48 درجة مئوية، مصحوبة بهبوب رياح نشطة على المنطقة الشرقية، تشمل مدينتي الدمام والظهران، ومحافظات حفر الباطن، والخفجي، والنعيرية، وقرية العليا، والجبيل، ورأس تنورة، والقطيف، والخبر، وبقيق، والعديد، والأحساء، والهجر والمراكز التابعة لها؛ مما يسبب في إثارة الأتربة، وتدني مستوى الرؤية الأفقية بين 3 و5 كيلومترات في الطرق السريعة والمناطق المفتوحة.
وأوضح مركز الأرصاد في تقريره اليومي عن حالة الطقس، ارتفاع درجات الحرارة العظمى على المنطقة الشرقية وأجزاء من مناطق الرياض ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة، فيما يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، وكذلك على أجزاء من مناطق القصيم وحائل وتبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية، بينما لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة برياح نشطة على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة والأجزاء الجنوبية من مرتفعات منطقة مكة المكرمة.
The heat wave in the Eastern Province continues today (Monday) until 7 PM
The National Center of Meteorology has warned that the temperature will reach between 47 and 48 degrees Celsius, accompanied by active winds in the Eastern Province, including the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiyah, Al-Ulayya, Al-Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Al-Biqaiq, and Al-Ahsa, as well as the surrounding villages and centers; this will cause dust to rise and reduce horizontal visibility to between 3 and 5 kilometers on highways and open areas.
The Meteorology Center explained in its daily weather report that maximum temperatures are rising in the Eastern Province and parts of the Riyadh, Makkah, and Madinah regions, while the effect of active winds that stir up dust and sand continues in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions. Meanwhile, there remains a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha regions, and the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah region.
