احتلت المملكة العربية السعودية المركز السابع عالمياً، ضمن تصنيف الدول الأكثر قوة لعام 2026، وفق استطلاع دولي للرأي استند إليه مؤشر Best Countries 2026 الصادر عن كلية وارتون بجامعة بنسلفانيا، ونشر نتائجه موقع Visual Capitalist.
واعتمد التصنيف على استطلاع شمل 15,131 بالغاً في 33 دولة، لقياس تصورات الرأي العام حول نفوذ الدول وتأثيرها عالمياً، دون الاعتماد بشكل مباشر على مؤشرات القوة العسكرية أو الاقتصادية.
وتصدرت الولايات المتحدة القائمة بدرجة قوة نسبية بلغت 100 نقطة، تلتها الصين 93.6، ثم روسيا 91.4، والمملكة المتحدة 84.3، وألمانيا 74.1، فيما جاءت كوريا الجنوبية في المركز السادس 62.7، والسعودية سابعة 61.0، تلتها فرنسا واليابان والإمارات العربية المتحدة التي أكملت قائمة العشرة الأوائل.
وأوضح التقرير، أن مفهوم قوة الدول يشمل حجم الاقتصاد، والريادة التكنولوجية، والموارد الإستراتيجية، والنفوذ الدبلوماسي، والقدرة على التأثير في مجريات الأحداث الدولية، ولا يقتصر على القدرات العسكرية.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الولايات المتحدة والصين وروسيا شكلت الفئة الأعلى بفارق واضح عن بقية الدول، بينما برزت كوريا الجنوبية والسعودية بتقدمهما على قوى تقليدية مثل فرنسا واليابان، كما دخلت الإمارات قائمة الدول العشر الأكثر قوة عالمياً.
وأكد التقرير، أن نتائج التصنيف تعكس تصورات المشاركين بشأن نفوذ الدول على الساحة الدولية، وأن هذه التصورات قد تتغير مع تطورات المشهد الجيوسياسي العالمي.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked seventh globally in the list of the most powerful countries for 2026, according to an international opinion poll used by the Best Countries 2026 index issued by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with results published by Visual Capitalist.
The ranking was based on a survey that included 15,131 adults in 33 countries to measure public perceptions of the influence and global impact of countries, without directly relying on military or economic power indicators.
The United States topped the list with a relative power score of 100 points, followed by China at 93.6, then Russia at 91.4, the United Kingdom at 84.3, and Germany at 74.1. South Korea came in sixth with 62.7, while Saudi Arabia was seventh with 61.0, followed by France, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates, which completed the top ten list.
The report explained that the concept of national power includes the size of the economy, technological leadership, strategic resources, diplomatic influence, and the ability to affect international events, and is not limited to military capabilities.
The report noted that the United States, China, and Russia formed the highest category with a clear margin over other countries, while South Korea and Saudi Arabia stood out by surpassing traditional powers like France and Japan. The UAE also entered the list of the ten most powerful countries globally.
The report confirmed that the ranking results reflect the participants' perceptions of countries' influence on the international stage, and that these perceptions may change with developments in the global geopolitical landscape.
