واصلت إيران اعتداءاتها السافرة، اليوم (السبت)، على الكويت والبحرين والأردن، واستهدفت هجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيّرة عدداً من المواقع، دفعت السلطات إلى تفعيل منظومات الدفاع الجوي وإطلاق صفارات الإنذار، بينما أُغلقت الأجواء الكويتية وأُعيدت جدولة معظم الرحلات الجوية.
وأعلنت مؤسسة البترول الكويتية تعرّض أحد المواقع الحيوية في القطاع النفطي لاعتداءات إيرانية غاشمة متكررة نتجت عنها خسائر مادية جسيمة مع وقوع بعض الإصابات، مؤكدة إسعاف المصابين وإخلاء الموقع. وقالت المؤسسة في بيان نقلته وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا) إنه جارٍ التعامل مع الاعتداء بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية بالدولة.
وأفادت قوة الإطفاء العام بأنها تتعامل مع حريقين اندلعا في موقعين مختلفين بعد استهدافهما بهجمات إيرانية.وذكرت أن الحادث الأول أدى إلى وقوع عدد من الإصابات بين رجال الإطفاء وأحد العاملين أثناء مكافحة الحريق وتم إخلاء الموقع ونقلهم لتقديم الإسعافات اللازمة.
وأعلنت رئاسة الأركان العامة للجيش الكويتي أن الدفاعات الجوية تتصدى لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيّرة معادية، موضحة أن أصوات الانفجارات التي سُمعت في البلاد ناجمة عن عمليات اعتراض الأهداف الجوية.
وأضافت أن الهجمات جاءت «إثر العدوان الإيراني»، داعيةً المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الالتزام بتعليمات الجهات المختصة وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات.
وبالتزامن مع التطورات الأمنية، أعلنت الخطوط الجوية الكويتية إعادة جدولة معظم رحلاتها بعد إغلاق المجال الجوي، في خطوة احترازية هدفت إلى ضمان سلامة حركة الطيران، وسط استمرار عمليات الدفاع الجوي واعتراض الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة.
فيما أعلنت وزارة الكهرباء والماء والطاقة المتجددة الكويتية أن هجوماً إيرانياً استهدف محطة أخرى للكهرباء وتحلية المياه، مشيرة إلى أن الهجوم الإيراني أسفر عن اندلاع حريق وتضرر مكونات محطة الكهرباء.
وفي البحرين، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية إطلاق صفارات الإنذار للمرة الثالثة خلال ساعات، مطالبة المواطنين والمقيمين بالتوجه إلى أقرب مكان آمن واتباع تعليمات السلامة. وجاء ذلك بعدما أعلن الجيش الإيراني أنه استهدف قاعدة الشيخ عيسى الجوية.
وفي الأردن، أعلن الجيش أن دفاعاته الجوية اعترضت وأسقطت 10 صواريخ إيرانية كانت متجهة نحو الأراضي الأردنية. وأوضح أن عمليات الاعتراض لم تسفر عن أي إصابات أو أضرار مادية، فيما باشرت فرق سلاح الهندسة الملكي التعامل مع الشظايا التي سقطت في عدد من المواقع وتأمينها وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
Iran continued its blatant attacks today (Saturday) on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, targeting several sites with missile strikes and drones, prompting authorities to activate air defense systems and sound alarm sirens, while Kuwaiti airspace was closed and most flights were rescheduled.
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that one of the vital sites in the oil sector had been subjected to repeated brutal Iranian attacks, resulting in significant material losses and some injuries, confirming that the injured were treated and the site was evacuated. The corporation stated in a statement reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that they are dealing with the attack in coordination with the relevant authorities in the country.
The General Fire Force reported that it is dealing with two fires that broke out at different locations after being targeted by Iranian attacks. It mentioned that the first incident resulted in several injuries among firefighters and one worker while combating the fire, and the site was evacuated, and they were transported for necessary medical assistance.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that air defenses are intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks, clarifying that the sounds of explosions heard in the country were due to operations intercepting aerial targets.
It added that the attacks came "in response to Iranian aggression," urging citizens and residents to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities and not to be misled by rumors.
Simultaneously with the security developments, Kuwait Airways announced the rescheduling of most of its flights after the airspace was closed, in a precautionary step aimed at ensuring the safety of air traffic, amid ongoing air defense operations and the interception of missiles and drones.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced that an Iranian attack targeted another electricity and water desalination station, indicating that the Iranian attack resulted in a fire and damage to the components of the power station.
In Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior announced the sounding of alarm sirens for the third time within hours, urging citizens and residents to head to the nearest safe place and follow safety instructions. This came after the Iranian army announced that it had targeted Sheikh Isa Air Base.
In Jordan, the army announced that its air defenses intercepted and shot down 10 Iranian missiles that were headed towards Jordanian territory. It clarified that the interception operations did not result in any injuries or material damage, while the Royal Engineering Corps teams began dealing with the debris that fell in several locations and securing them according to the approved procedures.
