وأشار أشرف زكي، في بيان رسمي، إلى أن نقابة المهن التمثيلية شهدت عبر تاريخها مواقف مشرفة للدفاع عن حقوق أعضائها، مستشهداً بموقف الفنانة الراحلة تحية كاريوكا خلال الاعتصام دفاعاً عن قانون 103، مؤكداً أن المرحلة الحالية تتطلب وحدة مماثلة بين الفنانين.
دعوة للحشد
كما وجه نقيب المهن التمثيلية دعوة إلى جميع أعضاء النقابة لحضور الاجتماع المقرر مساء الأربعاء القادم بمقر نادي النقابة، مشدداً على أن وحدة الفنانين وتمسكهم بحقوقهم تمثل الضمان الحقيقي للحفاظ على حق الأداء العلني وصون حقوق الأجيال الحالية والقادمة.
خلفية الأزمة
ويأتي هذا التحرك في ظل الجدل المتصاعد حول حق الأداء العلني، منذ المقترح الذي تقدم به الفنان عضو مجلس الشيوخ ياسر جلال أمام لجنة الثقافة والإعلام بمجلس الشيوخ في مايو الماضي لتفعيل هذا الحق، وهو المقترح الذي حظي بدعم عدد من الفنانين والنقابات الفنية في مقابل اعتراض بعض المنتجين.

A Call to Rally
The head of the Actors' Syndicate also called on all members of the syndicate to attend the meeting scheduled for next Wednesday at the syndicate club, stressing that the unity of artists and their commitment to their rights represents the true guarantee for preserving public performance rights and safeguarding the rights of current and future generations.
Background of the Crisis
This move comes amid the escalating debate surrounding public performance rights, following the proposal made by artist and Senate member Yasser Jalal before the Culture and Media Committee in the Senate last May to activate this right, a proposal that received support from several artists and artistic unions, in contrast to the objections from some producers.
