أعلنت حركة حماس أن إسرائيل اغتالت مدير جهاز الأمن الداخلي في وسط القطاع ومساعده، بغارة جوية استهدفت مركبتهما في مدينة دير البلح.
وأفادت الوزارة في بيان، اليوم (الأحد)، بأن الغارة أسفرت عن اغتيال العقيد وائل موسى اللداوي (44 عاماً)، مدير جهاز الأمن الداخلي في وسط قطاع غزة، إلى جانب الرائد رامز توفيق أبو زريق (49 عاماً)، أثناء وجودهما داخل مركبة في مدينة دير البلح وسط القطاع.
وأكد قسم الطوارئ والاستقبال في مستشفى شهداء الأقصى بمدينة دير البلح وصول جثماني المسؤولين الأمنيين، إضافة إلى 9 مصابين من المواطنين الذين كانوا يمرون في موقع الاستهداف، مشيراً إلى أن حالة أحد المصابين وصفت بالحرجة.
وتأتي الغارة في إطار سلسلة هجمات إسرائيلية استهدفت أفراداً ومسؤولين في أجهزة الشرطة والأمن التابعة لحماس في قطاع غزة خلال الأشهر الماضية، حيث تتهم إسرائيل عدداً منهم بالارتباط بالجناح العسكري للحركة وبالضلوع في تهديدات ضد قواتها.
واعتبرت حماس أن استهداف جهاز الشرطة ومؤسساته يهدف إلى نشر الفوضى والانفلات الأمني في القطاع، ويعد انتهاكاً لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الذي تم التوصل إليه بوساطة أمريكية في شهر أكتوبر.
ووفق مسؤولين صحيين في غزة، أسفرت الهجمات الإسرائيلية عن مقتل أكثر من 1190 فلسطينياً، معظمهم من المدنيين، منذ دخول وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ، فيما لا تعلن حماس عادةً عن حجم خسائرها في صفوف عناصرها.
ورغم أن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار أنهى العمليات العسكرية واسعة النطاق، فإنه لم يوقف الهجمات الإسرائيلية المتكررة، بينما تقول إسرائيل إن مسلحين في غزة قتلوا أربعة من جنودها منذ بدء سريان الاتفاق.
Hamas announced that Israel assassinated the director of the internal security service in the central Gaza Strip and his assistant, in an airstrike that targeted their vehicle in the city of Deir al-Balah.
The ministry stated in a statement today (Sunday) that the airstrike resulted in the assassination of Colonel Wael Mousa Al-Lidawi (44 years old), the director of the internal security service in central Gaza, along with Major Ramez Tawfiq Abu Zareeq (49 years old), while they were inside a vehicle in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central strip.
The emergency and reception department at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah confirmed the arrival of the bodies of the security officials, in addition to 9 injured citizens who were passing by the target site, noting that the condition of one of the injured was described as critical.
The airstrike comes as part of a series of Israeli attacks targeting individuals and officials in the police and security apparatuses affiliated with Hamas in the Gaza Strip over the past months, with Israel accusing several of them of being linked to the military wing of the movement and being involved in threats against its forces.
Hamas considered that targeting the police apparatus and its institutions aims to spread chaos and security instability in the strip, and constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement reached through American mediation in October.
According to health officials in Gaza, Israeli attacks have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,190 Palestinians, most of whom are civilians, since the ceasefire came into effect, while Hamas usually does not announce the extent of its losses among its members.
Although the ceasefire agreement ended large-scale military operations, it has not stopped the repeated Israeli attacks, while Israel states that militants in Gaza have killed four of its soldiers since the agreement took effect.
