أرجأ الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع زيارته التي كانت مقررة إلى برلين الثلاثاء، إلى أجل غير محدود، بحسب متحدث باسم الحكومة الألمانية.
وأوضح متحدث باسم الحكومة الألمانية اليوم (الأحد) أن الرئيس الشرع أَجَّل زيارته لألمانيا التي كان مقررة الثلاثاء، عازياً ذلك إلى الوضع السياسي الداخلي في سورية في الوقت الحالي.
وكان من المقرر أن يلتقي الشرع، الثلاثاء، بالمستشار الألماني فريدريش ميرتس، وعدد من الوزراء الاتحاديين وممثلين عن القطاع الاقتصادي، كما كان من المتوقع أن تتصدر قضايا إعادة اللاجئين السوريين إلى وطنهم المباحثات، إضافة إعادة إعمار البلاد بعد ما يقرب من 14 عاماً من الحرب الأهلية.
ووجه ميرتس دعوة إلى الشرع لزيارة ألمانيا في نوفمبر الماضي.
ووقَّع الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع اليوم اتفاقاً لوقف إطلاق النار والاندماج الكامل لقوات سورية الديموقراطية (قسد) في الجيش السوري.
وقال الشرع عقب لقائه المبعوث الأمريكي توم باراك وتوقيعه الاتفاق: «كنا على موعد مع مظلوم عبدي لكنه تأخر للغد بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية»، موضحاً أن كل الملفات العالقة مع «قسد» سيتم حلها.
وقال الشرع: «الدولة السورية دولة موحدة، والمناطق ذات الخصوصية ستنسب أسماء عناصر الأمن الذين سيعملون فيها».
من جهته، قال قائد قوات سورية الديمقراطية «قسد»، مظلوم عبدي: «لم نفشل، ولن نسقط، وأمامنا خطوات، وسنعود إلى شعبنا وتنظيماتنا».
وقال عبدي: «من خلال الاتفاق سنعيد من تركوا بيوتهم»، موضحاً أن «الحرب لم تكن متكافئة».
وأشار إلى أنه قبل بالإتفاق مع دمشق «لحقن الدماء»، مبيناً أن الاتفاق «أوقف حرباً أهلية».
The Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara has postponed his scheduled visit to Berlin on Tuesday indefinitely, according to a spokesperson for the German government.
The spokesperson for the German government stated today (Sunday) that President al-Shara has delayed his visit to Germany, which was set for Tuesday, attributing this to the current internal political situation in Syria.
Al-Shara was scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, several federal ministers, and representatives from the economic sector on Tuesday. It was also expected that discussions would focus on issues related to the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland, in addition to the reconstruction of the country after nearly 14 years of civil war.
Merz had invited al-Shara to visit Germany last November.
Today, Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara signed an agreement for a ceasefire and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the Syrian army.
After meeting with U.S. envoy Tom Barak and signing the agreement, al-Shara stated: "we were supposed to meet with Mazloum Abdi, but he was delayed until tomorrow due to bad weather," explaining that all outstanding issues with the SDF will be resolved.
Al-Shara said: "The Syrian state is a unified state, and the areas with special characteristics will have the names of the security personnel who will work there assigned to them."
For his part, the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, stated: "We have not failed, and we will not fall; we have steps ahead of us, and we will return to our people and our organizations."
Abdi said: "Through the agreement, we will return those who left their homes," clarifying that "the war was not equal."
He pointed out that he accepted the agreement with Damascus "to stem the bloodshed," indicating that the agreement "stopped a civil war."
