دعا مندوب إيران لدى الأمم المتحدة، أمير سعيد عرفاني، مجلس الأمن الدولي إلى التحرك إزاء ما وصفه بالتهديدات الأمريكية المتواصلة باستخدام القوة ضد دول ذات سيادة والسيطرة على أراضٍ أجنبية.
وأكد عرفاني، في تصريحات اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب وجّه تهديدات علنية ومتكررة لإيران بالتدخل العسكري واستخدام القوة، معتبراً أن هذه الممارسات تمثل انتهاكاً واضحاً للقانون الدولي.
وحثّ المندوب الإيراني مجلس الأمن على اتخاذ موقف صريح، وتسمية الانتهاكات الأمريكية «بأسمائها الحقيقية»، محذراً من أن تجاهل مثل هذه التهديدات من شأنه تقويض الأمن والاستقرار على الساحة الدولية.
المسار الدبلوماسي مفتوح
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي قد أكد أن المسار الدبلوماسي لا يزال قائماً في التعامل مع إيران، مشيراً إلى وجود رغبة لدى طهران في التوصل إلى اتفاق. وقال دونالد ترمب في مقابلة مع موقع «أكسيوس» أمس (الإثنين): «إنهم يريدون إبرام اتفاق، أعلم ذلك جيداً، لقد تواصلوا معنا مرات عديدة ويرغبون في التحدث».
القرار النهائي لم يُحسم
وفي المقابل، وصف ترمب الوضع مع إيران بأنه «غير مستقر»، لافتاً إلى أنه أمر بإرسال «أسطول كبير» إلى المنطقة. وأوضح في هذا السياق أن قرار نشر حاملة الطائرات «يو إس إس أبراهام لينكولن» في الشرق الأوسط يأتي ضمن هذا التحرك، مضيفاً: «لدينا وجود بحري ضخم قرب إيران، أكبر حتى من الأسطول الموجود حول فنزويلا»، دون أن يكشف عن طبيعة الخيارات التي عرضها عليه فريق الأمن القومي.
وفي السياق ذاته، نقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن مصادر مطلعة أن ترمب لم يحسم قراره النهائي بعد، مرجحاً أن يواصل إجراء مشاورات إضافية خلال الأسبوع الجاري، على أن تُعرض عليه خيارات عسكرية أخرى محتملة.

Iravani confirmed in statements today (Tuesday) that U.S. President Donald Trump has issued public and repeated threats to Iran regarding military intervention and the use of force, considering these practices a clear violation of international law.
The Iranian representative urged the Security Council to take a clear stance and to name the American violations "by their true names," warning that ignoring such threats could undermine security and stability on the international stage.
The Diplomatic Path is Open
The U.S. president has confirmed that the diplomatic path remains open in dealing with Iran, indicating that there is a desire from Tehran to reach an agreement. Donald Trump stated in an interview with Axios yesterday (Monday): "They want to make a deal, I know that very well, they have reached out to us many times and want to talk."
The Final Decision Has Not Been Made
In contrast, Trump described the situation with Iran as "unstable," noting that he ordered the deployment of a "large fleet" to the region. He clarified in this context that the decision to deploy the aircraft carrier "USS Abraham Lincoln" to the Middle East is part of this move, adding: "We have a massive naval presence near Iran, even larger than the fleet around Venezuela," without revealing the nature of the options presented to him by the National Security team.
In the same context, Axios reported from informed sources that Trump has not yet made his final decision, suggesting that he will continue to conduct additional consultations during this week, with other potential military options to be presented to him.
