تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود -حفظه الله- تنطلق النسخة السابعة من كأس السعودية 2026 لسباقات الخيل، يومي الجمعة والسبت 13 و14 فبراير، والتي تعد أكبر حدث فروسي في العالم، بجوائز مالية تُعد الأعلى عالميًّا.
وبهذه المناسبة، رفع الأمير بندر بن خالد بن فيصل المستشار بالديوان الملكي رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة الفروسية رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي سباقات الخيل، أسمى آيات الشكر والعرفان لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود الرئيس الفخري لنادي سباقات الخيل، وللأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء -حفظهما الله- على دعمهما الكبير والمتواصل لهذا الحدث العالمي (كأس السعودية)، الذي يحظى بمتابعة واهتمام ولي العهد، الذي سخر جميع الإمكانات في سبيل استمرارية نجاحه المبهر، وتصدره الساحة العالمية لسباقات الخيل حتى بات محطة مهمة في روزنامة السباقات العالمية، ومحط أنظار كبار الملاك والمدربين والخيالة، طمعًا بالتواجد في جميع محطاته المؤهلة وصولًا إلى الأمسية الكبرى والأغلى عالميًا، بمشاركة نخبة الخيل الأبطال من مختلف دول العالم.
وقال: «لقد أصبح كأس السعودية حدثًا بارزًا وأيقونة نجاح في المملكة على عدة أصعدة، ونفخر هذا العام بما وصل إليه الكأس من تطور وترقيات عديدة في مجموعة من الأشواط المصاحبة، وتصنيفها الدولي عبر الفئات الثلاث الكبرى، وذلك بفضل الله تعالى ثم ثمرات الدعم غير المحدود من القيادة، الذي أسهم في نجاح خططنا الإستراتيجية نحو حضور عالمي قوي».
وأشار إلى أن دور كأس السعودية لا يقتصر على جانب السباقات فقط، بل يشمل عدة عناصر ثقافية وتجارية، إلى جانب الأزياء والموضة، والفنون التراثية الشعبية، والحرف اليدوية؛ إذ بات الكأس أداة تعريف وجذب لتاريخ وثقافة المملكة، ولمختلف مناطقها التي تتميز بتنوعها الثقافي والحضاري.
وأكد أن الرعاية الكريمة تمثل مصدر فخر وإلهام للجميع، ودليلًا واضحًا على حرص القيادة ومتابعتها لكل ما يسهم في إبراز ثقافة المملكة داخليًّا وخارجيًّا.
وأفاد بأن نسخة هذا العام تجسد الإلهام والنجاح؛ إذ بات العالم على ثقة بأن المملكة عندما تنظم أي حدث أو فعالية، فإنها تقدم نموذجًا فريدًا يُروى بفخر، ويتسم بالريادة والتميز، تحقيقًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، التي تعزز مكانة المملكة على الصعيد الدولي، تحت قيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد -أيدهما الله.

On this occasion, Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Faisal, advisor at the Royal Court, Chairman of the Equestrian Authority, and Chairman of the Horse Racing Club, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the honorary president of the Horse Racing Club, and to Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - for their significant and continuous support for this global event (the Saudi Cup), which receives the attention and interest of the Crown Prince, who has dedicated all resources to ensure its remarkable success and its leading position in the global horse racing arena, making it an important stop in the calendar of international races, and a focal point for major owners, trainers, and jockeys, eager to participate in all its qualifying stages leading up to the grand and most expensive evening in the world, featuring a selection of champion horses from various countries.
He said: "The Saudi Cup has become a prominent event and a symbol of success in the Kingdom on multiple levels, and we take pride this year in the advancements and numerous upgrades the cup has achieved in a series of accompanying races, and its international classification across the three major categories, thanks to God Almighty and the unlimited support from the leadership, which has contributed to the success of our strategic plans towards a strong global presence."
He pointed out that the role of the Saudi Cup is not limited to the racing aspect only, but includes several cultural and commercial elements, in addition to fashion, traditional arts, and handicrafts; the cup has become a tool for introducing and attracting attention to the history and culture of the Kingdom, and to its various regions that are characterized by their cultural and civilizational diversity.
He emphasized that the generous sponsorship represents a source of pride and inspiration for everyone, and a clear indication of the leadership's keenness and follow-up on everything that contributes to showcasing the culture of the Kingdom both domestically and internationally.
He stated that this year's edition embodies inspiration and success; the world is confident that when the Kingdom organizes any event or activity, it presents a unique model that is proudly narrated, characterized by leadership and excellence, achieving the objectives of Vision 2030, which enhances the Kingdom's position on the international stage, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince - may God support them.
