أعلنت أفغانستان اليوم (الثلاثاء) إطلاق سراح 3 باكستانيين احتُجزوا خلال المعارك بين البلدين في أكتوبر العام الماضي، بوساطة من المملكة العربية السعودية.

وقال المتحدث باسم الحكومة الأفغانية ذبيح الله مجاهد، إنه انطلاقاً من سياسة أفغانستان القائمة على إقامة علاقات إيجابية مع جميع الدول، ولقرب حلول شهر رمضان، واستجابة لطلب السعودية، وتقديراً لزيارة وفدها المفاوض الذي وصل إلى كابول أمس (الاثنين)، أفرجت عن 3 محتجزين باكستانيين، مبيناً أنه تم احتجازهم خلال الاشتباكات مع الجانب الباكستاني في 12 أكتوبر 2025، وجرى تسليمهم إلى الوفد السعودي.

وكانت السعودية قد اعلنت دعمها لجميع الجهود الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى تعزيز السلام والاستقرار، وحرصها الدائم على استتباب الأمن بما يحقق الاستقرار والازدهار للشعبين الباكستاني والأفغاني.

Afghanistan announced today (Tuesday) the release of 3 Pakistanis who were detained during the clashes between the two countries in October last year, facilitated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated that, based on Afghanistan's policy of establishing positive relations with all countries, and with the approach of the month of Ramadan, in response to Saudi Arabia's request, and in appreciation of the visit of its negotiating delegation that arrived in Kabul yesterday (Monday), 3 detained Pakistanis were released. He indicated that they were detained during clashes with the Pakistani side on October 12, 2025, and they were handed over to the Saudi delegation.

Saudi Arabia had announced its support for all regional and international efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability, and its constant commitment to ensuring security that achieves stability and prosperity for both the Pakistani and Afghan peoples.
