علمت مصادر خاصة لـ«عكاظ» أن نادي الوحدة تقدّم باحتجاج رسمي إلى لجنة الانضباط والأخلاق على خلفية مشاركة لاعب نادي الباطن عبدالله ديابي في مواجهة الجولة الـ24 من منافسات دوري يلو لأندية الدرجة الأولى، بداعي عدم نظامية مشاركته بسبب تراكم البطاقات الصفراء.

وبحسب المصادر ذاتها، فإن إدارة الوحدة أرفقت ضمن ملف الاحتجاج ما يثبت وصول اللاعب إلى الحد المسموح به من الإنذارات، الذي يستوجب الإيقاف التلقائي وفقاً للائحة المسابقات، معتبرة أن مشاركته في اللقاء تمثل مخالفة صريحة للوائح المنظمة للمنافسة.

ويأتي هذا التحرّك بعد أيام من كسب الوحدة احتجاجه السابق ضد لاعب نادي العلا ماتيا ناستاسيتش، في القرار الصادر بتاريخ 18 فبراير 2026، وهو ما منح الإدارة دفعة إضافية لمواصلة متابعة الحالات النظامية المرتبطة بمشاركات اللاعبين.

ومن المنتظر أن تنظر لجنة الانضباط في تفاصيل الاحتجاج خلال الأيام القادمة، قبل إصدار قرارها النهائي بشأن مدى نظامية مشاركة اللاعب، وما قد يترتب على ذلك من تبعات تتعلق بنتيجة المباراة.

Informed sources for "Okaz" reported that Al-Wehda Club has submitted an official protest to the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee regarding the participation of Al-Batin player Abdullah Diaby in the 24th round of the Yelo League for first division clubs, citing the illegality of his participation due to accumulated yellow cards.

According to the same sources, the Al-Wehda management included in the protest file evidence that the player had reached the permissible limit of warnings, which necessitates an automatic suspension according to the competition regulations, considering that his participation in the match represents a clear violation of the rules governing the competition.

This move comes days after Al-Wehda won its previous protest against Al-Ula player Matija Nastasic, in the decision issued on February 18, 2026, which provided the management with an additional boost to continue monitoring the regulatory cases related to player participation.
