تدخل في 11 مايو القادم حيز التنفيذ اتفاقية الإعفاء المتبادل من تأشيرات الزيارة لمواطني المملكة العربية السعودية وروسيا الاتحادية. وطبقاً لوزارة الخارجية، تتيح الاتفاقية لمواطني البلدين البقاء لمدة 90 يوماً متصلة أو على فترات متفرقة خلال السنة الميلادية.

وتشمل الأغراض المخصصة في الإعفاء السياحة وزيارة الأعمال وزيارة الأقارب والأصدقاء، لكنها لا تتضمن تأشيرات العمل، أو الدراسة، أو الإقامة، أو الحج؛ إذ يلزم الحصول على التأشيرة المخصصة لذلك.

وكانت المملكة وروسيا وقعتا على الاتفاقية على هامش منتدى الاستثمار والأعمال السعودي-الروسي، الذي انعقد بالعاصمة الرياض، بحضور وزير الطاقة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ونائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء في روسيا الاتحادية ألكسندر نوفاك.

ووقع على اتفاقية الإعفاء المتبادل من التأشيرات، من الجانب السعودي وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، ومن الجانب الروسي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء في روسيا الاتحادية ألكسندر نوفاك.

On May 11th, the mutual visa exemption agreement for citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation will come into effect. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement allows citizens of both countries to stay for 90 consecutive days or for intermittent periods throughout the calendar year.

The purposes covered by the exemption include tourism, business visits, and visiting relatives and friends, but it does not include work, study, residence, or pilgrimage visas; a specific visa is required for those purposes.

The Kingdom and Russia signed the agreement on the sidelines of the Saudi-Russian Investment and Business Forum, which was held in the capital, Riyadh, in the presence of Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.

The mutual visa exemption agreement was signed by the Saudi side, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and by the Russian side, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.
