أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي للرياضات الإلكترونية الأمير فيصل بن بندر بن سلطان أن قطاع الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية أصبح ركنًا إستراتيجيًا ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030، بحجم استثمارات مستهدف يصل إلى 50 مليار ريال، مشيرًا إلى أن مشاركة القطاع الخاص تمثل داعمًا حقيقيًا لنمو هذا القطاع. جاء ذلك خلال منتدى الاستثمار الرياضي (SIF 2026) في العاصمة الرياض.
وأوضح أن المملكة شهدت تطورًا لافتًا، حيث ارتفع عدد الأندية من ناديين فقط في عام 2018 إلى أكثر من 200 نادٍ حاليًا، إضافة إلى وجود 1300 لاعب ولاعبة، مع تسجيل حضور قوي للاعبات السعوديات على مستوى الاحتراف عالميًا.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Esports Federation, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, confirmed that the gaming and esports sector has become a strategic pillar within the Kingdom's Vision 2030, with a targeted investment size reaching 50 billion riyals. He pointed out that the participation of the private sector represents a real support for the growth of this sector. This came during the Sports Investment Forum (SIF 2026) in the capital, Riyadh.
He explained that the Kingdom has witnessed remarkable development, as the number of clubs has increased from just two clubs in 2018 to more than 200 clubs currently, in addition to having 1,300 male and female players, with a strong presence of Saudi female players at the professional level globally.
