واصلت صناديق استثمار الثروات السيادية الخليجية إبرام الصفقات خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية، إذ أشار تقرير حديث لمؤسسة صناديق الثروات السيادية العالمية أن صندوق الاستثمارات العامة السعودي، ونظيريْه القطري والإماراتي، أنفقت مجتمعة 26 مليار دولار خلال مارس وإبريل ومايو 2026، وهو معدل إنفاق على الصفقات يفوق السنوات الخمس الماضية.
وتدفقت الرساميل الخليجية لضمان إبرام صفقات في الولايات المتحدة، وكان قرار صندوق استثمار الثروة السيادية السعودية استثمار 6 مليارات دولار في شركة تطوير الألعاب الصينية «موون تكنولوجي» تأكيداً بأن الاستثمار في الأسواق الناشئة تفوق على نظيره في الأسواق المتقدمة. وأشار موقع «سيمافور» الإخباري الأمريكي إلى أن ذلك أظهر الصندوق السيادي السعودي باعتباره الأكثر نشاطاً استثمارياً في منطقة الخليج.
وفي تقرير ذي صلة؛ ذكر «سيمافور» أن صناديق استثمارات الثروات السيادية الخليجية وعدداً من مليارديرات المنطقة ستهبط عليهم ثروة طائلة جراء الطرح الأولي لأسهم شركة سبيس اكس، التي يملكها رجل الأعمال الأمريكي إيلون ماسك، الذي يعد أكبر اكتتاب من نوعه على مستوى العالم. وسيتم ذلك على رغم الحرب الدائرة، والتوترات المتفاقمة في المنطقة.
ورغم أن ملف الاكتتاب في «سبيس اكس» لم يحدد حجم المستثمرين الخليجيين وحجم استثمارات صناديق الثروة السيادية الخليجية في الشركة الضخمة؛ إلا أن «سيمافور» ذكر أنه حتى لو بلغت ملكية المستثمرين الخليجيين نسبة 1% فقط فسيعود عليهم ذلك بما لا يقل عن 15 بليون دولار.
وأضاف أنه بالنسبة إلى المستثمرين الخليجيين الذين ظلوا يقفون مع ماسك على مدى السنوات الماضية ستكون عائداتهم أكبر.
وأشار الموقع الأمريكي إلى أن أبرز المستثمرين السعوديين في أعمال ماسك هو الأمير الوليد بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز، الذي استثمر 300 مليون دولار في موقع «تويتر». وتم تحويل هذا الاستثمار لاحقاً إلى أسهم في مؤسسة سبيس اكس. وأضاف أن شركة المملكة القابضة، المملوكة للأمير الوليد بن طلال، قدّرت في نهاية مارس 2026 استثمارها في «سبيس اكس» بنحو 4.5 مليار دولار. وكان صندوق استثمار الثروة السيادية السعودية استثمر من خلال شركة هيوماين 3 مليارات دولار في فبراير 2026 في شركة xAI، قبل اندماجها في «سبيس اكس»، وأوضح «سيمافور» أن «سبيس اكس» يقدر حجمها السوقي بـ28.5 تريليون دولار، بما يعادل ربع النتاج المحلي الإجمالي العالمي.
Gulf sovereign wealth funds continued to make deals over the past three months, as a recent report from the Global Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute indicated that the Saudi Public Investment Fund, along with its Qatari and Emirati counterparts, collectively spent $26 billion during March, April, and May 2026, which is a spending rate on deals that exceeds the past five years.
Gulf capital flowed in to ensure deals were made in the United States, and the decision of the Saudi sovereign wealth fund to invest $6 billion in the Chinese gaming development company "Moon Technology" confirmed that investment in emerging markets surpassed that in advanced markets. The American news site "Semafor" noted that this positioned the Saudi sovereign fund as the most active investor in the Gulf region.
In a related report, "Semafor" mentioned that Gulf sovereign wealth funds and several billionaires in the region would receive a massive fortune due to the initial public offering of shares in SpaceX, owned by American businessman Elon Musk, which is considered the largest IPO of its kind in the world. This will occur despite the ongoing war and escalating tensions in the region.
Although the SpaceX IPO file did not specify the size of Gulf investors or the amount of investments from Gulf sovereign wealth funds in the giant company, "Semafor" stated that even if Gulf investors owned just 1%, it would yield them no less than $15 billion.
It added that for Gulf investors who have stood by Musk over the past years, their returns would be greater.
The American site pointed out that one of the prominent Saudi investors in Musk's ventures is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, who invested $300 million in Twitter. This investment was later converted into shares in SpaceX. It added that Kingdom Holding Company, owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, estimated its investment in SpaceX at about $4.5 billion by the end of March 2026. The Saudi sovereign wealth fund had invested $3 billion through Humain in February 2026 in xAI, before its merger with SpaceX, and "Semafor" clarified that SpaceX is valued at $28.5 trillion, equivalent to a quarter of the global GDP.
