توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الخميس) استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الحدود الشمالية والشرقية والرياض، تمتد إلى الأجزاء الشرقية من منطقة القصيم، وعلى أجزاء من منطقتي المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة، في حين لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة برياح نشطة على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر تكون شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة (20 - 40) كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي وبسرعة (15 - 35) كم/ ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي تصل إلى (50) كم/ ساعة باتجاه خليج العقبة، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى مترين على الجزء الشمالي كذلك باتجاه خليج العقبة ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج على الجزء الشمالي وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي.
وفي الخليج العربي تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط تتحول مساءً إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الشمالي بسرعة (12 - 35) كم/ ساعة وغربية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة (10 - 28) كم/ ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الجنوبي, وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Thursday) that the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of the Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions, extending to the eastern parts of the Qassim region, and in parts of the Medina and Makkah regions. Meanwhile, the opportunity remains for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to westerly at speeds of (20 - 40) km/h in the northern part and at speeds of (15 - 35) km/h in the central and southern parts, reaching up to (50) km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba. The wave height ranges from one to one and a half meters, reaching two meters in the northern part towards the Gulf of Aqaba, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the central and southern parts. The sea condition is moderate in the northern part and light to moderate in the central and southern parts.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, shifting in the evening to southwesterly in the northern part at speeds of (12 - 35) km/h and westerly to southwesterly in the southern part at speeds of (10 - 28) km/h. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts and from half a meter to one meter in the southern part, with the sea condition being light to moderate in the northern and central parts and light in the southern part.
