كشفت مصادر سياسية عراقية عن رسالة أمريكية سرية نُقلت عبر سفير العراق في واشنطن نزار الخير الله تتضمن مهلة لا تتجاوز 48 ساعة لسحب ترشيح المالكي، مع تحذير من عقوبات قد تطول العراق وجهات داعمة له في حال عدم الاستجابة.
وقال وزير الخارجية العراقي الأسبق والقيادي في الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني هوشيار زيباري، في تصريحات صحفية، إن رسائل أمريكية (شديدة) وصلت خلال اليومين الماضيين، محذرة من (مفاجآت).
وأكد زيباري صعوبة ترشيح المالكي في ظل الرفض الأمريكي الحالي، مبيناً أن قائمة المرشحين لرئاسة الوزراء تقلصت إلى أربع شخصيات لا يتضمنها اسم السوداني.
عقوبات على الطاولة
وبحسب المعطيات، تشمل العقوبات المحتملة البنك المركزي العراقي وشركة تسويق النفط «سومو»، إضافة إلى شخصيات في «الإطار» يثبت دعمها للمالكي. ويأتي ذلك ترجمة لتحذيرات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الذي وجّه انتقادات حادة للمسار الذي اتبعه المالكي خلال توليه رئاسة الحكومة لثماني سنوات.
ومع انتهاء المهلة المتداولة، تحركت حكومة تصريف الأعمال برئاسة محمد شياع السوداني لاحتواء الضغوط، إذ أفادت مصادر بأن السوداني طلب مهلة إضافية حتى نهاية الأسبوع لحسم ملف انسحاب المالكي قبل أي خطوات أمريكية.
انقسام داخل «الإطار»… واجتماعات مكثفة
الضغوط الخارجية تزامنت مع حراك داخلي مكثف. فقد عقد رئيس المجلس الأعلى الإسلامي همام حمودي اجتماعاً ضم فالح الفياض وهادي العامري وشخصيات أخرى لبحث تداعيات الرسالة الأمريكية وسبل تفادي أزمة أوسع.
كما زار المالكي أربيل والتقى رئيس الحزب الديمقراطي الكردستاني مسعود بارزاني، وسط معلومات تفيد بأن القوى الكردية لن تتمكن من دعم مرشح يواجه رفضاً أمريكياً واضحاً، رغم محاولات لإقناع واشنطن بقبول الترشيح.

وقال عقيل الرديني، المتحدث باسم «ائتلاف النصر» المنضوي في الإطار، إن الموقف من ترشيح المالكي سيتضح بعد الاجتماع.
وتتمسك الأطراف الرافضة لهذا الترشيح بموقفها، في حين وصف مكتب المالكي ما يُتداول بشأن نية الإطار سحب ترشيحه بأنه حملة إعلامية مغرضة.
ونفى مدير المكتب الإعلامي لرئيس ائتلاف دولة القانون نوري المالكي، هشام الركابي، في بيان، صحة الأنباء المتداولة بشأن سحب ترشيح المالكي لرئاسة الوزراء من قبل «الإطار التنسيقي»، مؤكداً أن ما يتم تداوله في هذا السياق «لا أساس له من الصحة».

The director of the media office for the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, Hisham al-Rakabi, denied in a statement the validity of the news circulating about the withdrawal of al-Maliki's nomination for the premiership by the "Coordination Framework," confirming that what is being circulated in this context "is unfounded."
