أعربت المملكة العربية السعودية عن رفضها وإدانتها بأشد العبارات الهجمات الإيرانية السافرة والجبانة، التي استهدفت منطقة الرياض والمنطقة الشرقية وتم التصدي لها، وهي هجمات لا يمكن تبريرها تحت أي ذريعة وبأي شكل من الأشكال، وقد جاءت على الرغم من علم السلطات الإيرانية أن المملكة أكدت أنها لن تسمح باستخدام أجوائها وأراضيها لاستهداف إيران.
وفي ضوء هذا العدوان غير المبرر، فإن المملكة تؤكد أنها ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة للذود عن أمنها وحماية أراضيها ومواطنيها والمقيمين فيها، بما في ذلك خيار الرد على العدوان.
.. وتُدين الاعتداءات الإيرانية على الدول الشقيقة
أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية، إدانتها واستنكارها بأشد العبارات الاعتداء الإيراني الغاشم والانتهاك السافر لسيادة كلٍّ من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ومملكة البحرين ودولة قطر ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، مؤكدة تضامنها الكامل ووقوفها إلى جانب الدول الشقيقة، ووضع إمكاناتها كافة لمساندتها في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات، وحذرت المملكة من العواقب الوخيمة من استمرار انتهاك سيادة الدول ومبادئ القانون الدولي.
وطالبت المملكة -في بيان صدر عن وزارة الخارجية أمس- المجتمع الدولي بإدانة هذه الاعتداءات الغاشمة، واتخاذ الإجراءات الحازمة كافة لمواجهة الانتهاكات الإيرانية التي تقوّض أمن واستقرار المنطقة.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its rejection and condemnation in the strongest terms of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks that targeted the Riyadh region and the Eastern Province, which were successfully countered. These attacks cannot be justified under any pretext or in any form, and they occurred despite the Iranian authorities being aware that the Kingdom has confirmed it will not allow its airspace and territory to be used to target Iran.
In light of this unjustified aggression, the Kingdom reaffirms that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory, citizens, and residents, including the option of responding to the aggression.
.. and condemns the Iranian assaults on brotherly countries
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the brutal Iranian aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reaffirming its full solidarity and support for the brotherly countries, and placing all its capabilities at their disposal to assist them in all the measures they take. The Kingdom warned of the dire consequences of the continued violation of the sovereignty of countries and the principles of international law.
The Kingdom called on the international community - in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday - to condemn these brutal assaults and to take all necessary measures to confront the Iranian violations that undermine the security and stability of the region.
