لا يحسبن أحد أننا حين نَسِمِّ قيادتنا بـ«الرشيدة» أن ذلك من باب المدح الزائف، أو التزويق اللغوي، أو المستهلك اللفظي العارض، أو هي لازمة نأتي بها بشكل عفوي وتلقائي، بغير حساب أو تقدير أو نظر يماثل معناها العميق المنطوي على خلال وصفات سنيّة وعلّية، منظورة في وفرة العقل، وسداد الرأي، وتغليب الحكمة، ونشدان الحق، وتحقيق العدالة، وغير ذلك مما تجمعه هذه الكلمة في طواياها، بل إننا حينما نقرنها بقيادتنا، فإننا ننظر إلى هذه المعاني مجتمعة ومنطبقة عليها، ومجسّدة في أفعالها وأقوالها وصنيعها، فمن قصرت همته عن مراجعة التاريخ، فلينظر صنيع هذه القيادة الرشيدة مع ما يجري من أحداث كارثية تشهدها المنطقة هذه الأيام، فما إن وقعت الواقعة حتى خفت قيادتنا وبادرت بالتقاط زمام المواجهة، متعالية على الخلافات، ومترفعة عن الصغائر، جامعة كلمة العرب عموماً، والخليجيين خاصة، في نسق واحد رافض ومستنكر وشاجب للعدوان السافر الذي أقدمت عليه ايران، واضعة ومسخّرة كافة إمكانياتها من أجل تضميد الجراح، فجاء توجيه القيادة الحكيمة، بالموافقة على استضافة جميع العالقين في مطارات السعودية من مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، بجانب إعلان المملكة الذود عن كافة دول الخليج، قناعة راسخة أن أمن الخليج العربي كلٌّ لا يتجزّأ، وفق الاجتماع الاستثنائي للمجلس الوزاري لمجلس التعاون، والذي نص على أن «العدوان الإيراني غير مبرر»، وأن «دول المجلس ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة للذود عن أمنها واستقرارها وحماية أراضيها ومواطنيها والمقيمين فيها بما في ذلك خيار الرد على العدوان».

إن وصف العدوان الإيراني بغير المبرر تسنده كافة الوقائع على الأرض، بل إن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب عبّر عن دهشته واستنكاره لهذا التصرّف غير المنطقي، والمجافي للحكمة، فادعاء إيران بأنها إنما تستهدف المصالح الأمريكية، كان من الممكن أن يجد شيئاً من «القبول»، لو أنها وجّهت ذات الاستهداف للمصالح الأمريكية في دول مثل تركيا، وباكستان، وأذربيجان، وهي على مرمى حجر منها، ولكن من الواضح أنها تتخذ من ذلك ذريعة مكشوفة النوايا، تخرج به ما في جوفها من ضغائن مستترة، وأحقاد ابتليت بها المنطقة. ولا تعدو أن تكون «ورقة توت» لا تستر عيوب هذا النظام البائس، والذي بات يلفظ أنفاسه الأخيرة، ولم يبقَ له إلا هذا «السعار» الكارثي الذي يرسله في عماء وحقد كيفما اتفق،

وما هو ببالغ غايته من زعزعة المنطقة، فقد باتت على قلب رجل واحد، وموقف نابذ ومستنكر لصنيعها، مسنودة بتأييد المجتمع الدولي كله دون استثناء.

إن مبدأ رد هذا العدوان الإيراني الآثم على المملكة ودول الخليج العربي وبعض الدول العربية تكفله كافة المواثيق، وتعضده المواثيق والأعراف والقوانين الدولية، وما «ضبط النفس» الذي تمارسه المملكة حيال كافة التجاوزات الخطيرة التي يقوم بها النظام الإيراني المحتضر؛ إلا من باب الحكمة، والنأي بالمنطقة من حرب إقليمية تسعى إيران إلى توسيع دائرتها ما أمكن، وتستفز الجميع لرد الفعل العاجل حتى تجد المبرر والذريعة لمزيد من الدمار الأعمى، والاستهداف الأخطل، وبالغاً ما بلغ «ضبط النفس» من تقدير وسعة وسماحة، فالذي لا شك فيه أن الأمور لن تكون كما كانت عليه قبل العدوان، فحق الرد قائم، وطرقه ووسائله ستحددها المملكة وفق تقديراتها السليمة، بمواقيتها المحسوبة بدقة، وبالصورة التي تضمن بسط الأمن الراسخ بأقل الكلفة الممكنة، وبصورة تضمن تقليل الخسائر إلى أدنى المستويات الممكنة، وبما يضمن شرقاً أوسطياً آمناً ومستقراً لا تنتاشه «صفوية» بغيضة، ولا تعكر صفوه طموحات آيديولوجية مفخخة من أي جهة صدرت، وبأي آلية تحرّكت.

إن السماح بتمدد الحرب خارج محيط إيران ستكون تبعاته وخيمة، وستلقي بظلالها الكثيفة على دول الخليج العربية بشكل مباشر ومؤثر، وهو ما تضعه المملكة ودول المجلس في حسبانها، وتحركها الواعي والمتزن، رغم عظم الاستفزاز من النظام الإيراني.

نثق كل الثقة في قيادتنا الرشيدة، ونقف معها في كل خطوة تخطوها، وهي تمضي بحكمة عالية في مسار الحل الأمثل لهذه الكارثة التي حلت بالمنطقة، مذكرة المجتمع الدولي، أن استقرار منطقة الخليج العربي ليس مسألة إقليمية فحسب؛ بل هو ركيزة أساسية لاستقرار الاقتصاد العالمي والملاحة البحرية، بما يتوجّب عليه القيام بدوره المنظور، بما يؤسّس ويرسّخ مبادئ احترام القانون الدولي، والمواثيق الأممية المعروفة، فإن عجز المجتمع الدولي عن ذلك، وقصرت يده عن كف المعتدي، فللمملكة كلمتها النافذة وقتها، ولات حين مندم.

No one should think that when we describe our leadership as "wise," it is merely a form of false praise, linguistic embellishment, or a superficial verbal expression, nor is it a phrase we use spontaneously and without consideration or appreciation for its profound meaning, which encompasses noble qualities and attributes, viewed through the lens of abundant intellect, sound judgment, prioritizing wisdom, seeking truth, achieving justice, and other aspects that this word encompasses. Rather, when we associate it with our leadership, we consider these meanings collectively and applicable to it, embodied in its actions, words, and deeds. Those who lack the ambition to review history should look at the actions of this wise leadership in light of the catastrophic events currently unfolding in the region. As soon as the situation escalated, our leadership swiftly took the reins of confrontation, rising above disputes and elevating itself above trivial matters, uniting the Arab voice in general, and the Gulf states in particular, in a single, rejecting, denouncing, and condemning stance against the blatant aggression perpetrated by Iran, mobilizing all its resources to heal the wounds. Thus, the wise leadership directed that all those stranded at Saudi airports from the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries be hosted, alongside the Kingdom's declaration to defend all Gulf states, with a firm conviction that the security of the Arabian Gulf is indivisible, according to the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which stated that "the Iranian aggression is unjustified," and that "the member states will take all necessary measures to defend their security and stability and protect their territories, citizens, and residents, including the option of responding to the aggression."

Describing the Iranian aggression as unjustified is supported by all the facts on the ground. In fact, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his astonishment and condemnation of this illogical and unwise behavior. Iran's claim that it is targeting American interests could have found some "acceptance" if it had directed the same targeting towards American interests in countries like Turkey, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan, which are just a stone's throw away. However, it is clear that this is a transparent pretext, revealing its hidden animosities and the grudges that have afflicted the region. It is nothing more than a "fig leaf" that does not cover the flaws of this wretched regime, which is now gasping its last breaths, with nothing left but this catastrophic "frenzy" it sends out in a blind rage and hatred indiscriminately.

It has not achieved its goal of destabilizing the region, which has now become united in its rejection and condemnation of its actions, supported by the backing of the entire international community without exception.

The principle of responding to this sinful Iranian aggression against the Kingdom and the Gulf Arab states, as well as some Arab countries, is guaranteed by all treaties and supported by international charters and laws. The "restraint" exercised by the Kingdom in the face of all the serious violations committed by the dying Iranian regime is merely a matter of wisdom, keeping the region away from a regional war that Iran seeks to expand as much as possible, provoking everyone for an immediate reaction to find justification and excuses for further blind destruction and targeted aggression. Regardless of how far "restraint" has been stretched in terms of appreciation and tolerance, there is no doubt that things will not be as they were before the aggression. The right to respond exists, and the methods and means will be determined by the Kingdom according to its sound assessments, with carefully calculated timing, and in a manner that ensures the establishment of firm security at the lowest possible cost, while minimizing losses to the lowest possible levels, ensuring a safe and stable Middle East that is not threatened by repugnant "Safavid" influences, nor disturbed by ideological ambitions laden with explosives from any source or mechanism.

Allowing the war to extend beyond Iran's borders will have dire consequences, casting its heavy shadows directly and significantly on the Gulf Arab states, which the Kingdom and the Council states take into account, moving with conscious and balanced action, despite the significant provocation from the Iranian regime.

We have complete confidence in our wise leadership and stand with it in every step it takes as it proceeds with high wisdom towards the optimal solution for this catastrophe that has befallen the region, reminding the international community that the stability of the Arabian Gulf region is not merely a regional issue; it is a fundamental pillar for the stability of the global economy and maritime navigation, necessitating its active role in establishing and reinforcing the principles of respect for international law and known international charters. If the international community fails to do so and is unable to restrain the aggressor, then the Kingdom will have its decisive word at that time, and it will be too late to regret.
