دانت محكمة الاستئناف في بورزازات بالمغرب مجموعة من المتهمين في قضية تهريب مخدرات وصفت بالأكبر بالمدينة، وأصدرت أحكامًا صارمة بلغ مجموعها 54 عاماً، لتكون العقوبة الأشد هي 25 سنة سجناً نافذا لكل من المتهمين «ع.ب» و«ا.م».

وتعود تفاصيل القضية إلى معلومات دقيقة تلقتها مصالح الأمن من المديرية العامة لمراقبة التراب المغربي، تفيد بوجود سيارة نفعية محملة بالمخدرات، ما دفع الشرطة لتعقبها. وعند محاولة إيقافها، أطلق ركابها النار على عناصر الأمن، ما أدى إلى تبادل لإطلاق النار قبل أن تتم السيطرة على المركبة وحجز كميات كبيرة من الكوكايين والحشيش، بالإضافة إلى أسلحة نارية وأدوات خطيرة أخرى.

وبعد تحقيق ومتابعة دقيقة، تمت إحالة المتهمين إلى القضاء، الذي أضاف عليهم غرامة مالية قدرها 9.5 مليون درهم.

وقالت النيابة العامة في المغرب إن القضية شملت اتهامات متعددة: محاولة القتل العمد بسلاح ناري، والاتجار الدولي بالمخدرات، وحيازة واستهلاك الكوكايين وأقراص الهلوسة، وحيازة أسلحة بدون ترخيص، ما جعل الحكم رادعًا ومثالياً في مواجهة الجرائم المنظمة.

وأكدت المحكمة أن هذا الحكم يأتي في إطار جهود الأمن والعدالة لمحاربة تجارة المخدرات وحماية المجتمع من جرائم التهريب والعنف المسلح، ليكون درسا صارما لكل من تسول له نفسه المساس بالأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

The Court of Appeal in Ouarzazate, Morocco, convicted a group of defendants in what has been described as the largest drug trafficking case in the city, issuing strict sentences totaling 54 years, with the harshest penalty being 25 years of effective imprisonment for defendants "A.B." and "A.M."

The details of the case trace back to precise information received by the security services from the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, indicating the presence of a utility vehicle loaded with drugs, prompting the police to track it down. When attempting to stop the vehicle, its occupants fired at the security forces, leading to an exchange of gunfire before the vehicle was brought under control and large quantities of cocaine and hashish were seized, along with firearms and other dangerous tools.

After a thorough investigation and follow-up, the defendants were referred to the judiciary, which also imposed a financial penalty of 9.5 million dirhams.

The public prosecution in Morocco stated that the case involved multiple charges: attempted murder with a firearm, international drug trafficking, possession and consumption of cocaine and hallucinogenic pills, and possession of unlicensed firearms, making the ruling a deterrent and exemplary in combating organized crime.

The court confirmed that this ruling is part of the efforts of security and justice to combat drug trafficking and protect society from the crimes of smuggling and armed violence, serving as a stern lesson for anyone who might think of jeopardizing security and stability in the region.
